Product Manager – New Channel Integration

Today’s consumers demand more ways to interact with restaurants through technology, and the ecosystem of partners that integrate with our platforms is growing.  As a Tillster Product Manager, you are responsible for enabling these integrations by defining our platform channel API’s and capabilities, and providing partners like food delivery marketplaces and online ordering hubs with the features and - functions that are necessary to ensure program success and meet Tillster’s business goals. . 

Voice of the Market:

  • Use market data and research to justify the value prioritization and product backlog of the Tillster integration platform.
  • Champion growth in channel partner integrations by recognizing and identifying trends in the marketplace and improving the speed and efficiency by which Tillster enables them.

Technical Partner Relations:

  • Drive integration efforts with new channel partners and advocate for new partner features that would support channel growth.
  • Evaluate new channel products to determine fit and estimate effort to enable and support them
  • Build channel partner network by developing relationships across the industry and identifying suitable partners

Evaluate and Prioritize Opportunities:

  • Work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and cross-functional teams to execute successfully using objective prioritization techniques.
  • Analyze data and partner developer feedback to understand customer needs and identify new opportunities

Go-to Product Technical Expert:

  • Assist with evaluation of external-facing documentation
  • Train internal teams and external customers to drive successful new channel integrations.

 Scrum Product Owner:

  • Participate in sprint activities, including planning and defining initiatives and writing stories
  • Prioritize your team’s backlog to drive execution of program goals and objectives yet ensuring optimal platform performance and quality
  • Communicate frequently to ensure project transparency within the organization
  • Remove blockers to ensure team success
  • Guide the team to success

About you…

  • 3+ years of experience independently driving and managing complex technical products and projects with an agile software-as-a-service environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 1+ year of experience defining, building, distributing and leading a development team building and integrating with RESTful API’s,
  • 1+ year of experience with web-based technical concepts and design of technical solutions.
  • Superior communications skills, including the ability to translate complex technical products and features into intuitive concepts and graphics.
  • A creative instinct to bring fresh ideas into product positioning and development.
  • Experience with ecommerce, online ordering, or POS technology a plus.
  • Technical writing experience helpful
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-growing, rapidly-changing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business with Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics preferred.
