Amazon Web Services (AWS) Identity manages the sign-up process to bring new customers into AWS and builds the infrastructure, tools, and application programming interfaces (APIs) the enable customers to control who has access to what. We accomplish this by delivering identity management (who), access management (access), and resource management (what) services that we wrap within a framework of governance so that companies can be in control of how they secure, use, and purchase AWS services.

Every customer starts their journey with our sign-up and every service built on AWS uses our AWS Identity platform. We build our systems to make it easy to use by small businesses who are just getting started, while scaling to meet the technical, performance, and reliability needs of the world’s largest multi-national corporations.

We are seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial Sr. Product Manager Technical to drive the AWS sign-up system. In this role, you’ll help define the future of how customers get started with AWS while addressing the unique regional requirements for different countries globally. You will help make it easy for customers to on-board with a positive experience and the least friction possible while ensuring the security and integrity of the sign-up process.

You should be passionate about helping customers operate in the cloud. You should be excited about inventing on behalf of our customers and advocating for their needs throughout the design, build, and deployment process. This position has a high level of visibility, so you will need to be able to communicate clearly and compellingly whether you’re engaging internally with a development engineer or a senior vice president, or externally with an identity professional or a CISO. You should have a positive attitude and strong work ethic; you will work fast and smart, and adapt and iterate quickly.
