Perhaps you already know us through brands like AmazonBasics, Rivet, Stone & Beam, or Ravenna Home. In a nutshell, our SPMs are assigned to a product category (e.g. Automotive, Home Improvement, Computer Accessories etc.) and become CEO over that business. You are given a topline and profitability target, and then the rest is up to you. Levers at your disposal include your existing business which consists of HPB products previously launched in your space. More importantly though, you will study your market landscape and identify new assortment opportunities that you will develop and commercialize. Like any CEO you will work with a variety of stakeholders both within and outside the team. Your interactions will be both domestic and international as many of your partners reside outside the US.

Core responsibilities:
· Become a product & market expert for your category, study business trends and develop assortment expansion strategies.
· Lead implementation of those strategies by building product business cases and coordinating with stakeholders across the product development process.
· Lead business optimization projects for your product portfolio including customer experience enhancements and profitability improvements.
· Manage your business profit & loss statement (PnL).
· Collaborate with and influence team members including retail, sourcing, legal, patent, social compliance and product compliance.
· Partner with country teams to launch products globally.

More about this specific role: Sr. PM, HPB PC and AV Accessories
Lead our consumer electronics accessories business which encompasses everything from monitor stands and keyboards to projector screens and HDTV antennas. Increase market segment share through product refreshes, upgrades, and extensions. Plus, lead the effort to enter higher complexity product segments in both categories.


Basic Qualifications

· 6+ years in product management/ product development/ global sourcing / project management is required.
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or Global Supply Chain
· Proficient in Excel and SQL.
· Exceptional written and oral communication abilities.
· Strong analytic skills with experience using qualitative and quantitative to develop product strategies.


Preferred Qualifications

· Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field
· Experience with consumer electronics or private brands at other retailers
· Experience in marketing, brand management, brand development, consumer insights or experience working closely with those functional areas
· Academic and practical experience with a wide array of new product, sensory, brand, advertising and customer satisfaction research methodologies
· Exceptional written and oral communication abilities
· Strong analytic skills with experience using qualitative and quantitative to develop product strategies.
