The Opportunity As the Product Manager, you will develop and execute Springboard’s Data Platform strategy in order to generate data-driven insights & interventions. You will focus on data collection and insight generation: how, where and what data is collected and how we make that data actionable for Springboard. You will work with Data Analysts to make sense of user interactions to generate actionable insights and interventions.   • Partner with Product & Engineering leadership to define a Data Platform strategy and roadmap.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the needs of the data platform from internal and external stakeholders to drive product requirements.
  • Implement systems to collect, and store user behavior data, analyze and generate actionable insights & interventions.
  • Work with product and engineering leadership to envision and prioritize improvements to our platform to enable seamless data collection, integrations, and scalability.
  • Drive build-vs-buy decisions in our data & integrations product development process.
  • Partner with the Product Analytics team to identify and prove out effective interventions to drive student completion and job outcomes.


  • Have 2+ years work experience in Technical Product Management, with experience building and launching technical integrations.
  • Has a strong technical background and ability to have collaborative, in-depth technical discussions with engineers.
  • Have a deep understanding of user data patterns, data quality, privacy and data-driven decision making.
  • Can define the product vision, execute the product roadmap, prioritize features, and execute end to end; build to launch.
  • Have strong communication (verbal & written) and people skills, especially with remote engineering teams.
  • Are terrific at prioritizing by getting to the crux of the problem/value, make accurate trade-offs, and articulate them clearly.

Bonus points if you have...

  • Working knowledge of databases, data warehousing, and query languages
  • Understanding of common Big Data technologies (BigQuery, GCP, Redshift)
