We develop and deliver technology that supports Amazon Operations at worldwide scope and scale that is unparalleled. We are forming a new team focused on providing advanced image solutions that leverage both automated and semi-automated Computer Vision (CV) and Machine Learning (ML) processing techniques to provide enhanced safety, productivity, and quality controls throughout Amazon’s global operation sites. We will be automating image capture and analysis, large data set handling, using convolutional neural networks (CNNs) for classification and segmentation of images, spatial recognition of objects/distance/velocity relationships, real time and near-term operational feedback loops and large-scale process automation. What You’ll Do
As a Product Manager supporting the camera vision team, you’ll be responsible for managing the life cycle of an internal product portfolio with considerable impact. You’ll own the product roadmap and feature priorities, which may include contributing to operational planning narratives and goals, and other organization roadmaps. You’ll define the customer problem(s) to solve, desired customer experience, vision, tenets, and product strategy. You’ll drive product discussions to guide CV-based projects that will be implemented at Amazon operation sites all over the world designed to keep fellow Amazonians safe, reduce process flow disruption and detect and eliminate quality errors before they impact customers. In this challenging role, you’ll be working closely with engineering and program leaders to bring new AI-driven CV solutions to life, solving meaningful problems on a global scale.

Basic Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
· 5+ years of experience of product management or product marketing experience
· Experience with full product life cycle exposure from concept to GA launch
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to advocate for the customer, leading and influencing across different organizations to align stakeholders on product feature delivery
· Experience overseeing product roadmap strategy and definition, and translating solutions into detailed user stories and managing a release-based story backlog
· Strong understanding of Agile development processes and best practices
· Strong user experience/design sense, with a record of building/delivering great products

Preferred Qualifications

· MBA or relevant Master’s degree in a related field
· 3+ unique products brought to market
· Demonstrated success translating complex qualitative and quantitative customer feedback into successful products, features, and solutions
· Entrepreneurial spirit with track record for delivering results in fast-moving environments
· Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
· Ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly and understands how to drive a high level of focus and excellence with a strong, talented, opinionated team
· Experience in delivering large-scale Global systems
