If you have the right blend of customer advocacy, enthusiasm and creativity, you may be just right for the Sr. Product Marketing Manager, Emerging Verticals role on the Alexa Skills Partner Marketing team. We are looking for an experienced, customer-obsessed marketing manager to drive customer awareness of and engagement with Alexa skills through innovative Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies and co-marketing initiatives with leading skills partners. You will have the opportunity to create product positioning and messaging for new features within a specified category. In this role you will define, build, and execute GTM strategies for a specified category, and build co-marketing plans with the top tier partners for that category, driving acquisition and customer engagement with those skills. You will play a pivotal part in the launch of new skills by creating launch plans in partnership with the Product team, Devices marketing team, consumer marketing team, the skill developer, and other cross-functional stakeholders across Amazon’s top brands. You will dive deep into customer insights and use data to craft innovative campaigns to surprise and delight customers.

The Sr. Marketing Manager will build and maintain key business relationships and work side by side with Business Development and Product teams to drive the ultimate success of partner skills. You will identify and build marketing plans with key brands and drive discussions with senior brand and marketing leaders in those organizations. You will also be able to think strategically about business, marketing, and technology, and map the intersection of client needs and Amazon priorities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer engagement and communication skills as well as the marketing creativity and influence to drive big ideas across all stakeholders.

· Create product brand, positioning, and messaging for a new vertical
· Build consumer GTM plans for new features within Alexa Skills
· Deliver persuasive, passionate, high impact, high quality presentations to senior decision makers
· Design, build, and execute individualized co-marketing programs with top partners
· Pitch co-marketing plans for joint launch campaigns to senior leadership at top brands
· Work with cross-functional teams to enable successful marketing plan execution
· Advocate internally for marketing features and functionality that will help facilitate world class Alexa experiences
· Create actionable steps to achieve big, ambiguous ideas
· Analyze results and make changes to execution plans for improved campaign performance and ROI
· Manage co-marketing budget, forecasting, and reporting

Basic Qualifications


· Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business
· 10+ years relevant work experience in consumer audience marketing
· Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns
· Experience product marketing
· Experience building GTM plans

Preferred Qualifications

· MBA
· Experience in tech marketing
· History of defining marketing strategy and executional excellence
· Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams, including external partners
· Excellent drive for results with an ability to manage work independently and take calculated risks
· Ability to excel in a fast paced, ambiguous environment
· Thinks strategically, but stays on top of tactical execution
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence others
· Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously and drive programs to completion
· Ability to effectively partner with cross functional teams including product management, business analytics, finance, engagement and partner marking teams.
