We are in search for a Product Analyst who will build the analytical and reporting infrastructure to optimise Babylon’s suite of products during a transformative, high-speed growth period. This is not your typical analyst role; you will be expected to become integral to our product teams, building dashboards, models, completing deep dives and working with analytical products to help drive business decisions. You will be required to deliver on tight timelines as the business scales, and you will develop a deep understanding of Babylon’s products and our operations in the US region.
You will work intimately with product, design, research and technology teams in order to help drive analytical solutions for products that will help us build the first digital healthcare service that can support millions of patients.

What will you do:

  • Help build and define the reporting and insights processes for some of our core product teams
  • Develop a strong understanding of Babylon’s product across the globe in order to define appropriate metrics and key success indicators
  • Build clear and effective feedback loops to help define the strategy for our product during its transformative stage
  • Create the optimal reporting structure by working closely with product leads
  • Communicate insights and metrics to senior stakeholders and business partners on a regular basis
  • Create the required models and analysis to drive initiatives that are focused on building a product that users love
  • Delivering seamless experiences for patients and clinical professionals 
  • Testing the efficacy of new product releases and features
  • Guiding product strategy and prioritisation for future builds
  • Analyse and identify existing priority processes that need transforming or improving
  • Developing technology that drives efficiency for our clinical services for millions of patients across the globe
  • Creating solutions that can be easily deployed in multiple markets across the globe
  • Expanding our available offerings and services
  • Build the foundational processes that will enable us to scale nationally and globally and continually optimise them for efficiency and experience
  • Work closely with researchers and designers to help us understand how users interact with our platforms and to validate insights
  • Help build the foundational data infrastructure and analytics platform to assist data-driven teams within operations and across the company
  • Work with data engineers and the Operations Analytics team to help build a data platform that is optimised for its end users
  • Help drive a culture of strong analytics and data-driven thinking across Product

Who fits the role?

  • 2 - 3+ years experience in a product analytics role. Experience working as an analyst in other roles will also be considered
  • 1 – 2 years business experience using SQL
  • 1 – 2 years experience using Tableau or other visualisation tools to build reporting dashboards to analyse data
  • Experience working to tight timelines and embedding a metrics focus into operations to inform real-time business decisions
  • Previous experience working on short turn-around, analytical problems
  • Strong statistical understanding
  • You need to want to make change now – this is less about creating an incredible strategy that will be implemented over the next 5 years, and more about processes that can change the business in the next 6 months
  • Self-starter that is comfortable owning their outputs and is able to drive new initiatives and raise the bar within their areas of expertise
  • Ability to take initiative in a constantly-changing work environment and adopt a generalist do-what-it-takes mindset
  • Previous experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a non-hierarchical manner across multiple teams

  • What’s nice to have?
  • Numerical degree: Maths, Engineering, Science, Computer Science, Finance or related subjects
  • Fundamentals in Python and R
  • Experience working in a startup culture
