The Kindle Sales and Product Marketing team is seeking a customer-obsessed, exceptionally strong analytical thinker to develop and execute a portfolio of research and test & learn programs intended to: inform brand strategy and product positioning; drive customer demand; improve customer experience; and increase marketing and advertising effectiveness.

The role is both strategic and operational, and requires someone who can think big while diving into the details to execute flawlessly. This candidate will be expected to: develop a strong understanding of the Kindle business' long-term objectives and customer base; act as a consultant to worldwide sales and product marketing teams; and possess fine-tuned project management and influencing skills to work across multiple teams to achieve success. Lastly, the ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous, high-pressure entrepreneurial environment.

Basic Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree or higher
· 5+ years of relevant work experience in consumer research, consumer marketing, product marketing, and/or digital/high-technology consumer companies/products
· Experience analyzing large data sets independently; ability to use hard data and metrics to explain assumptions, recommendations, and impact
· Data gathering and analysis skills, including ability to interpret, articulate, and take action on ambiguous and complex topics
· Excellent, structured written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to drive continuous improvement in product management functions and processes across the organization

Preferred Qualifications

· MBA or Master’s degree
· Experience using SQL and Tableau
· Strong team-orientation with proven track record of taking ownership, diving deep, and delivering results
· Experience with different VOC tools and methods such as primary research, or working with customer experience metrics, such as Net Promoter Score.
