About the RoleAre you passionate about technology and digital marketing? Does revolutionizing the trillion-dollar fashion industry excite you? Are you interested in executing advertising campaigns across multiple channels to aid in the growth of one of Silicon Valley’s fastest growing startups? If so, then this is a role for you!thredUP is looking for a talented Growth Marketer to help our Performance Marketing team acquire and retain customers efficiently at scale. This person will grow into a pro in a few digital marketing channels; developing an expertise in creative strategy and execution. The role interacts extensively with the Marketing, Creative, Engineering, and Product teams. His or her input will help shape key business decisions.


  • Execute Paid Social ads across core channels (Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest)
  • Evaluate and iterate on creative strategy
  • Analyze/Report on key performance data
  • Brainstorm improvements to our targeting, creative, and site experience
  • Participate in internal/external meetings with Creative, Engineering, and Vendors
  • Assist in planning, execution and reporting of influencer marketing campaigns


  • 2 or more years in Performance Marketing
  • Previous work executing campaigns across
  • Experience with Paid Social or other relevant channels
  • Master at using Excel and Sheets
  • Experience working cross-functionally 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage time efficiently
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to learn and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business, or quantitative field preferred
  • Understanding of SQL a plus
  • Experience in e-commerce, marketplace, and/or startups a plus
