We are looking for an experienced technical product manager to join our team as the Principal Product Manager for the Self-Service Performance Ads (SSPA) Platform team.

The Principal Product Manager (Technical) will be responsible for charting and executing a course for Ad Serving Platform and Click Ingestion Pipeline for Amazon’s Performance Advertising products. In this role, you will have end-to-end product ownership from product vision, feature inception, development, and delivery. You will help define our strategy and will design and implement program direction to ensure the platform enables business growth. You have excellent communication skills and judgment, and are comfortable evangelizing the platform functions and services with a wide range of senior business and technical leaders. This is a high impact leadership position that requires vision and initiative, as well as technical depth and analytical rigor.

The SSPA team has a global reach enabling hundreds of thousands of sellers and vendors to advertise on Amazon websites. We enable Amazon customers to discover new products. This position has a high-degree of customer and business impact. For this problem space within our platform, it is truly Day One, and as such there many opportunities to influence not only the technical direction but also the success of one of Amazon's fastest growing strategic businesses. Basic Qualifications

· 8+ years of technical product management, program management or engineering experience
· 2+ years of experience with end to end product delivery
· Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
· Experience owning roadmap strategy and definition
· Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
· Bachelor's Degree
· Experience using data and metrics to develop business cases
· Experience managing and executing projects from start to finish, including project management, data gathering and modeling, problem solving, and communicating recommendations

Preferred Qualifications

· Previous experience in online advertising, paid search, and content personalization
· Previous experience with building high scale low latency Tier 1 distributed service and big data pipelines will be preferable
· Previous experience working cross functionally with business and engineering teams is a strong plus
· MBA or equivalent degree
· Experience leading initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders (design, engineering, usability, content development)
· Ability to work in ambiguous situations and across organizational boundaries.
