In the role of Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will be a major contributor in the acceleration of our global contact center and unified CCaaS/UCaaS products.  You'll work to define the go-to-market strategy, orchestrate launch plans, develop differentiated positioning and messaging, and produce compelling content to support each step of the buyer journey. You'll analyze and drive product packaging and pricing, and work closely with product management to define and deliver upon a market-driven roadmap. You will provide subject matter expertise on selling against the competition in addition to being a subject matter expert in your product area. You will positively and confidently represent the company, acting as a spokesperson at industry events and during interactions with industry analysts and relevant media. You will highlight 8x8's value proposition in deliverables, including presentations, data sheets, white papers, videos, blogs, podcasts, social media,  web content, press, industry events, primary and secondary research and customer case studies. You will work closely with Demand Generation, Product Management, Sales and Channel teams to proactively support the field and channel partners with effective positioning, marketing assets, product education, and competitive differentiation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop product value propositions, positioning and messaging that defines the brand and differentiates 8x8 versus its competitors, and demonstrates relevance to the target buyers. Translate product specific features into benefit positioning and messaging for buyers and users in terms that they understand, care about, and are willing to pay for. 
  • Support and collaborate with product management, demand generation, analyst relations and customer reference teams.
  • Facilitate and oversee content creation for critical product related topics, in forms such as ebooks, blogs, articles, videos, podcasts and digital marketing assets designed  to build awareness, consideration and preference for your designated products.
  • Equip internal sales and partners with tools, training, and collateral that equips them to win deals, close business and gain market leadership.
  • Closely collaborate with product management to help shape the product roadmap based on feedback and experience from interactions with customers, prospects, partners, analysts, and industry experts.
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to provide support where needed including product roadmap reviews, case studies, ROI proof points, web content, etc., to increase pipeline volume and velocity for the product you represent.
  • ·Drive primary research, segmentation analysis and 1:1 customer interviews that underpin thought leadership and product-specific content development.
  • Support competitive intelligence and analysis for your product line, including win-loss and competitive positioning.
  • Support sales engagements through use-case driven product presentations and demonstrations to the field and customers (tradeshows, road shows, customer briefings, webinars).

Qualifications

  • Contact Center industry experience is required. Ideally you have a strong background in CCaaS, including workforce engagement, analytics/reporting, digital/solutions as well as overall knowledge of the full contact center suite of solutions.
  • The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of product marketing experience and 10+ years of experience in contact centers
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills required.
  • Demonstrated ability to create, produce and present compelling and persuasive presentations and webinars.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, including the ability to lead with and without authority to gain alignment. 
  • BS or BA degree.  MBA or Master's degree in a technical field preferred.
  • Travel up to 25%
This role is open to any remote location US, with preference for someone in PST or flexible to work PST hours.
