About the Role:
The product team is looking for a driven, innovative, and experienced Product Management leader who can:1. Be a partner and thought-leader for our global expansion strategy. 2. Articulate tradeoffs and benefits of different directions for the product. 3. Manage a platform that allows for scalable optimization in different markets & languages. 
To succeed, our service must connect subscribers with the right choice of content at the right price. It’s a big challenge, and the role comes with incredible opportunity for impact. In this critical role, you will help define how we optimize for global growth and help shape the next generation of the product across the world. We are looking for a product leader who is comfortable using data to develop priorities and assess results while also demonstrating a deep understanding of customer needs and wants. 

You Will

  • Work with content, marketing, research, and business development partners to understand and empathize with the evolving needs and wants of prospects & subscribers around the world
  • Inspire and influence the broader team by articulating and reinforcing our international growth goals & strategies
  • Work with a broad set of stakeholders and product teams to develop a consolidated international product roadmap
  • Communicate progress and strategic evolution through regular presentations to senior executives and partners
  • Work with data science and analytics counterparts to build business cases and interpret AB test results
  • Lead projects related to developing capabilities that can be used to create market-specific variations in the product, including but not limited to market pricing, plans, positioning, catalog availability, and language/translation optimization
  • Be an internal leader for understanding, articulating, and solving complex business problems related to international growth & retention

You bring:

  • A drive to both learn and evangelize about global markets & growth
  • 5+ years experience in international growth 
  • 3+ years experience in product management or system development
  • Solid understanding of platform development & admin tools 
  • Familiarity with quantitative research methods including AB testing and data analytics
  • Ability to understand & communicate qualitative considerations in different markets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in subscription business models (preferred)
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills (preferred)
  • International strategy & analysis experience, MBA, or equivalent (preferred)

  • This position can be remote or in one of our offices. The product team is based in San Francisco.
