As Senior Product Manager, Technical for Fire tablet hardware, you will have the critical role of leading and driving the hardware product definition for Fire tablet devices. You will help shape the product roadmap while driving new features based on this vision. We are looking for someone with consumer electronics savvy and a proven track record of shipping commercially-successful connected devices with outstanding customer experiences. You are business-oriented and skilled in the development and implementation of a product plan. You will be responsible for capturing, documenting, and communicating requirements throughout all stages of the product family's lifecycle. Key Responsibilities:
· Lead hardware product strategy and definition for Fire tablet products with both hardware and software components
· Work closely with management, design, operations, finance, and engineering leadership to develop and deliver innovative consumer products
· Partner with key stakeholders to define product strategy while supporting metrics required to deliver a best-in-class customer experience
· Create buy-in for product vision both internally and externally and evangelize that vision within the organization
· Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals
· Develop detailed business requirements that can be used to create product specifications and design
· Manage prioritization and trade-offs for customer experience, performance and schedule
· Manage delivery of current products concurrently with future product planning
· Drive product and feature launches with teams inside and outside of Amazon

Basic Qualifications


· Bachelor's Degree
· 5+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
· Experience with end to end product delivery
· Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
· Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
· Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
· 5+ years of product management experience with a focus on consumer electronic devices
· Demonstrated experience shipping multiple iterations of commercially successful consumer electronic products with hardware, software and service dependencies
· Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on tight deadlines
· Experience coordinating complex product development cycles and software development schedules
· Broad knowledge of hardware, software, and mobile technologies


Preferred Qualifications

· MBA or Master’s degree
· Passion for mobile devices and connected entertainment services
· Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
· Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives
· Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions
· Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs, and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners
