The Senior Product Designer serves a vital role here, from creating the experience of new features, to the craft and finish of every detail in the product. The designer thinks deeply, speaks clearly, loves collaboration and feedback. Also the designer invents, refines and develops solutions to ensure customer needs and team goals are met.

Execution

  • Plan and participate in usability testing and assessment

  • Own/fix complex design and technical debt
  • Explore and refine quickly without losing effort
  • Solve at low fidelity, then polish for delivery
  • Turn data from market, industry trends, competitive analysis, and user experience research into user insights
  • Drive how your team improves shipping
  • Make smart trade offs
  • Create simple, elegant solutions to complex interaction problems
  • Raise the design bar with beautiful, modern UI

What you'll need:

  • 5+ years of experience in an individual contributor role, on a Product Design team for desktop or mobile
  • Deep understanding of key UI/UX principles, foundation in Typography, Interaction and Visual Design, and Ideation
  • Excellent understanding of user experience design for the web, mobile, or touch devices
  • Solid understanding of how to create usable, accessible, and modular designs that can scale to millions of users
  • Experience in working and collaborating with diverse teams in a dynamic, rapid growth environment
  • Experience partnering with Product Managers to develop the strategy and rationale for feature
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of common mobile and front-end web development
  • Experience in service design, conducting user research through various methods, and abilities to translate research finding into tangible product feature requirements or improvements is a plus
