The role
The UX Research team at Farfetch are roughly 15 Professionals from different backgrounds and with various Research skills and experience, distributed and growing across 3 locations - London, Porto and Lisbon.We empower our internal teams to serve Farfetch consumers (Consumer Research team) as well as the Boutiques and Brands around the world that operate on the Farfetch Platform (Partner Research team).You will be supporting and implementing strategic and tactical research in multiple product areas, enabling your team to make customer-centric and evidence-based decisions in Product and Design.You will use a wide variety of research methods and techniques, remote and field-based, to explore and reveal our Partner’s behaviours and motivations, their needs, wants and desires. Equipped with strong business acumen, commercial sense, and excellent analysis and storytelling skills, you will translate data from different sources into deep, meaningful and actionable insights.You will work directly with the Senior Researchers to help build research initiatives and priorities.

What you'll do
You will plan, conduct and deliver research studies to the business, closely aligned to your team's goals and missions.You will collaborate with stakeholders in Product Management, Operations and Design, building strong relationships with them and gain a deep understanding of their core research needs.You will support your team to get past surface-level research questions, helping them to arrive at fundamental questions that address the core of their research needs.You will deliver meaningful insights in effective, innovative, and impactful ways (reports, journey maps and personas) to a variety of audiences and facilitate them in making evidence-based decisions for product and design.You will build a detailed understanding of multiple Farfetch's product offerings.
Who you are:
Passionate about researching both the business and consumer side of the Farfetch platform, helping small businesses and enterprises to thrive on Farfetch, whilst ensuring the voice of the luxury customer is central to our consumer offering. Ideally, you are already experienced in the world of B2B product research and applying it to complex systems.Experienced UX researcher with a strong portfolio in a wide range of qual and quant methods and in exploratory, generative and evaluative research.Experience in advocating for and delivering UX Research in different commercial environments. Ideally experienced in navigating big organisations.Understand the importance of maintaining strong and trusting relationships with key stakeholders across the business.Effective communicator: You can distil complex ideas and package them for easy consumption. You are able to communicate research findings clearly, accurately and compellingly in written, verbal, non-verbal and visual forms of communication.A creative thinker, problem-solver who can work effectively as part of a team.Eager to learn and share your experience with others happily and freely.You thrive in an agile, ever-changing, and demanding environment that requires multi-tasking.Effective and comfortable working with remote peers on a consistent basis.Excellent English, verbally and written. Full professional fluency in Portuguese, in addition, is a big plus.
We are looking for an experienced UX Researcher with passion and curiosity for the B2B side of the world of fashion, eager to support your team/s through their research needs and deliver high-impact and actionable insights in multiple product areas.You will work in the Platform Products team, where we focus on championing platform thinking internally and externally by driving the growth and development of an enterprise-level platform for our B2B partners and clients, and the brands and boutiques on FARFETCH.COM. The team is made up of specialists in product management, product design, product operations and marketing as well as expertise in brand, design systems and technology innovation.
