About the role
As the entry point of financial data within the organisation, the Financial Development team plays a vital role in every transaction, from the application of fees to the management of ledger movements, and everything downstream within our Tech Finance product group. Being able to traverse an increasingly broad range of requirements with a product-driven mindset is crucial, and working collaboratively with stakeholders inside and outside the team will be the key to the success of the team.
The Senior Product Manager will define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Oracle product within the Financial Development team. Oracle is the application that handles the reporting and application of scheme fees in the Tech Finance product group.

Key responsibilities

  • Understand the customer and commercial needs to drive the Oracle roadmap
  • Support the strategy, vision, and roadmap for the Oracle product, from inception to delivery
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders inside and outside the team to discuss everything from discovery to prioritisation, and ensure regular communication and alignment across teams
  • Lead cross-team projects and work collaboratively on company initiatives
  • Work with an agile mindset
  • Utilise prioritsation methodologies to effectively prioritise the roadmap and backlog
  • Highlight, report, and manage risks and issues
  • Be an advocate for the Financial Development team and product

About You

  • 4+ years Product Management experience
  • Curiosity and commitment to understanding customer problems and pain points
  • Direct experience leading the ideation, scoping, development, and launch of digital products with an engineering team
  • Understanding of a minimum viable product (MVP) and can prioritise what is needed for launches to learn as quickly as possible, de-risk complex projects, and coordinate future release milestones
  • Proven ability to work with and become a subject matter expert for a complex product
  • Solid communicator with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across a variety of functions
  • Flexible, adaptable, and has a willingness to learn
  • Experience with data-centric product decision makingWorked in an agile environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in English

Bonus

  • Experience with or understanding of card scheme fees
  • Understanding of the FinTech market – preferably payments
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and GitHub
