We are looking for a Product Manager to join the Financial Engineering mission in Stockholm! You will be part of our Data & Metrics Product Area, which is responsible for building a portfolio of data products that help the Spotify Finance and Data community better understand the performance of the business and identify future opportunities.
In this role, you will help drive the roadmap and development of Spotify’s Ads ecosystem data and analytics products. The products that you’ll be responsible for, drive much of the reporting and analysis for the Ads supported business unit. You will support various business initiatives such as campaign performance and revenue forecasting. The result will be the facilitation of more informed and strategic decisions for various stakeholders throughout the organization.
You will work alongside a hardworking group of engineers and Product Managers to identify and prioritize work in the Ads Data domain and understand where the team can make a greater impact on the Spotify data community. This role will partner with the Senior Product Manager on the team, offering an opportunity for a first time or junior PM to learn, grow, and develop their product management skills every day.
Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences music!

What you’ll do

  • Closely collaborate with skilled engineers, data warehouse developers, and the Senior Product Manager to set the roadmap and development plan for the team
  • Work to define the metrics and KPI’s for your team and measure how these improve over time
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand and synthesize their data needs and collaborate on the short- and long-term goals of the business
  • Make sure that your team is constantly doing the right things, and has a healthy balance of innovation, reducing technical debt, and providing maintenance and support
  • Make sure that your team is strong and healthy - including capabilities, happiness, resilience, and growth

Who you are

  • You are self-motivated and have a strong focus on delivery of user value
  • You have an interest and perhaps even experience working with product development in a Product Manager role or similar, in high performing, cross-functional teams
  • You have experience thinking about “data as a product” in an engineering or data warehouse capacity
  • You are interested in how products work “under the hood” and are comfortable collaborating and discussing technical approaches and challenges with engineers
  • You are driven to get stuff done with a collaborative mindset. “You don’t win unless your team wins”
  • You are well organized and have great attention to detail
  • You're a fast learner and can quickly digest and triangulate multiple sources of information
  • You are able to take a vision and make it yours by communicating it in your own words
  • You can take the same vision and pick it down into a strategy that your team buys into
  • You are an excellent communicator in English, whether it be in words or in writing
  • You are open to traveling for work
