If you have strong customer focus, great instincts, and a passion for building a great marketing strategy, you may be just right for the Sr. Product Marketing Manager to build Go-to-Market (GTM) and marketing strategies for a new team. The Middle Mile transportation organization builds solutions that work across our network to optimize both time & cost of getting packages delivered. Our mission is to build the most efficient and optimal transportation solution on the planet, while integrating with a network of small and large carriers, owner operators, and drivers worldwide, to improve the ordering and delivery experience for Amazon customers. With rapid expansion into new geographies, innovations in supply chain, unique delivery models for products ranging from AmazonFresh groceries, ultra-fast Prime Now deliveries to big-screen TVs, increasingly complex transportation network, and growing number of shipments worldwide, we see an opportunity to fundamentally change the way people get the things they need.

As a key member of the marketing team, you will fully own the marketing strategies for one of our key customer segments, along with the value proposition for this segment. You will dive deep to fully understand the audience and product offering, develop segmentation, and build GTM plans to attract and engage customers. You’ll create product positioning, key benefits, and customer-facing messaging. You will work across content marketing, channel marketing, product, and business teams to prioritize and design new marketing strategies. This role sits in a new organization and owns building mechanisms for communication and working models across teams, and will require the ability to influence others. This role uses inputs from customer insights and content marketing, and provides strategic direction to channel marketing, international field marketers, and business teams. You will need to both think strategically to build your plans, and work tactically to execute them.

Primary responsibilities:

· Define the marketing plan and tactics to achieve business objectives for a key customer segment
· Develop the product narrative to accelerate adoption and momentum; successfully bring innovative and category-defining products to market
· Develop detailed go-to-market strategies, working cross-functionally with teams in marketing, PR, product, program management, and other business teams
· Advocate for the customer, distill market feedback across regions and categories into market intelligence that informs various internal stakeholders and influences product roadmap and business decisions
· Inspect performance metrics and create programs and mechanisms to drive results across the full customer lifecycle
· Work with cross-functional teams within the organization (e.g. marketers, product managers, and BI)

Basic Qualifications


· 5+ years of relevant experience in product marketing, product management, or program management
· Experience creating product positioning and benefit messaging
· Excellent communication skills, able to influence peers and leaders
· Desire to work in a fast-paced, highly ambiguous entrepreneurial culture
· Strong drive for results and ability to take calculate risks
· Proven project management skills
· Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Qualifications

· 7+ years of relevant experience
· Experience and understanding of B2B marketing strategies for acquisition and engagement
· Advanced degree, such as an MBA
