The Product Manager I - CRM will be responsible for gathering customer requirements, competitive information, market opportunities and translating them into product solutions. In addition, this position manages product and program-related projects and activities, which may involve product development, product implementation, product marketing and/or product management. The Product Manager works collaboratively with cross-functional teams across the enterprise to ensure optimal product delivery, performance, and customer satisfaction for dental products, programs, and special product features/options.

How you will make an impact:

  • Conduct market assessment and planning, product conceptualization, developing project plans, tracking and reporting on project deliverables.
  • Follow-up with project team members as necessary to meet project goals, and informing project team members and management of project status, issues, recommendations, resolutions and other important information.
  • Identify product improvement opportunities, implement them, and perform market risk analysis to support new market entry and product revisions.
  • Leverage in-depth knowledge and understanding of products across market segments to direct the development and implementation of new product initiatives, including product enhancements.
  • Develop, track, and analyze product performance and lifecycles on an ongoing basis after launch, as well as recommending, planning, and implementing product improvements/modifications to meet market needs.
  • Manage enterprise-wide cross functional teams to drive timeline and ensure projects stay on track throughout development and implementation.
  • Seek and maintain comprehensive understanding of internal and external environmental influences and competitive pressures to develop and enhance product portfolio.
  • Develop and utilize project management processes and tools including project work plans, risk assessments and workflows to support product development, implementation, and management projects.
  • Utilize market research, prepare marketing analyses, and use analytical methods to define market opportunities and make recommendations for strategy.
  • Develop business requirements and other plan materials which will drive ongoing product maintenance or new product development through planning and implementation phases.
  • Work with cross functional teams to ensure the effective execution of required changes.
  • Manage relationships to secure necessary resources not under direct control, and act as the primary product development contact for the organization for assigned product areas.
  • Present recommendations to senior management team.

What we look for:

  • 3+ years of relevant product management experience with a special focus in CRM software and functionality.
  • 2+ years of experience with segmentation, positioning, pricing, project management and new product development practices.
  • BA/BS degree.
  • Experience using agile methodology.
  • Desire to work in a grassroots environment.
  • Proven ability to drive projects and lead meetings.
  • Self-directed and motivated individual.
  • Ability to capture and articulate customer problems and translate those into product requirements.
  • Ability to lead and develop cross functional teams to achieve results.
  • Demonstrated success in managing relationships with internal teams and/or customers.
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, fast growth, dynamic environment and handle multiple projects and tasks daily while ensuring quality of work output.
  • Experience problem solving, relationship building, and championing collaboration.
  • Excellent time-management skills, multi-tasking ability.
  • Excellent communications capability for written, verbal, and presentation mediums.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and ability to review vast amounts of data and draw conclusions.
  • Ability to establish, understand, and follow work rules and procedures.
