Lyft Business connects Lyft to thousands of companies and organizations to offer safe, affordable and reliable solutions for ground transportation needs. Our goal is to make transportation-as-a-service a reality for organizations of all sizes and all industries. We’re looking for a product manager to lead development of our Lyft Business (B2B) platforms, which includes our commerce and enterprise setup and access features and systems. As PM lead for Lyft Business (B2B) Platforms, you’ll be critical in delivering a robust and scalable offering to our business customers, and enabling product teams across Lyft to launch and iterate on B2B offerings. You'll own multiple platforms, including the access, permissions, billing, and reporting experiences of our customers, as well as our business portal, internal tooling, and integration with some of Lyft's core systems. You will be responsible for developing the overall product strategy and roadmap for Lyft’s Business’ Platforms and managing a small team of other Product Managers.  

Responsibilities:
  • Understand Lyft's strategic and competitive position. Set your team's goals, success metrics and roadmap to align with Lyft's mission and drive maximum impact based on data analysis, market research and usability studies
  • Completely own your team's products, existing or new, from ideation, through development, to launch, growth and maintenance
  • Lead and align cross functional partners and teams: engineers, designers, analysts, marketers, business partners and operations to drive a shared vision
  • Communicate clearly roadmaps, priorities, experiments and decisions across a wide spectrum of audiences from partner teams to executive levels
  • Lead Product Management for our Lyft Business (B2B) Platforms, including both managing a small team of product managers and individual contributor PM work
  • Define vision and strategy for Lyft Business’ platforms, including our product suite structure, our commerce infrastructure, our user structure and our organization sign up and onboarding strategy
  • Build customer relationships and work with our sales, customer support, UXR, and UX teams to deeply understand our business customers to understand their cross-product needs (including access management, billing, payments, and reporting and insights)
  • Partner deeply with engineering to define ideal system architecture connecting our product with third party software
  • Work cross-functionally to identify product improvements to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness across Lyft Business teams (e.g., standardization of contract structures and productizing contract enforcement, automating organization validation)
  • Develop frameworks for how to engage with other teams at Lyft and determine how to prioritize incoming requests across Lyft  product teams and  other platform teams (e.g., payments, fraud, and identity)
  • Drive strategic initiatives to deliver Lyft business growth and profitability, including gaining consensus with the leadership team on implementing platform features
  • Set a clear go-to-market strategy alongside product marketing
Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience in product management, product design or equivalent consultant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or relevant work experience preferred
  • Passion for Lyft and what we are trying to achieve in sustainable urban transportation
  • Bonus points for passion about building platform solutions
  • Natural ability to make things happen around you. You manage project ambiguity, complexity and interdependencies in an organized and structured way. Be able to define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
  • Excellent judgment and thoughtfulness about the dynamics of a product ecosystem
  • Proven track record of working with partner organizations to build customer-focused  enterprise grade experiences. Bonus points for experience with financial systems, enterprise products, and developer products
  • Strong communication skills and intuition for communication strategy at every level -- within teams, within the company, to users, to press, and other audiences
  • Detail orientated with superior organizational skills -- balancing multiple projects, deadlines, and requests should be second nature to you
