We are seeking a Principal Product Manager - Technical to work on a confidential new program focused on using Artificial Intelligence to delight customers.

This new program is a strategic investment for Alexa, with senior leadership visibility. A successful candidate will be responsible for improving the overall customer experience of this program. This includes improving the mobile app workflows and the voice interactions. This also includes partnering closely with science and engineering teams to identify ways to leverage new technology across a number of potential customer use cases.

As a leader in this space, you will be responsible for a critical area of the Alexa customer experience. You will have already led medium/large product development efforts, and be comfortable with both the CX and technical aspects. Using data and customer feedback, you will determine where the team needs to improve the customer experience to improve all parts of our incoming customer funnel and long term engagement. The right person has technical knowledge to dive deep with engineering, a high level of customer obsession, a demonstrated ability to build repeatable and scalable processes, and is an independent operator skilled at negotiating resources and working cross-team / cross-org to deliver on behalf of customers.

Key responsibilities & deliverables:
· Define and build a vision for new feature CX.
· Create buy-in for the product vision across the Alexa organization
· Establish metrics and key performance indicators for success
· Develop detailed business requirements, user stories, and product specifications
· Create product roadmaps that span multiple engineering teams
· Work closely with multiple engineering, science, and UX designers to deliver
· Be creative and innovate on behalf of our customers

Basic Qualifications

· 8+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
· Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
· Bachelor's Degree
· Experience with end to end product delivery
· Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
· Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition

Preferred Qualifications

· Masters of Business Administration
· Demonstrated experience working with multiple teams in a large organization
· Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts
· Demonstrated experience engaging and influencing executive leadership
· Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions
· Solid understanding of the software development process
· Demonstrated track record of delivering new features and products
· Passion for innovating on behalf of customers
· Good collaborator and able to efficiently communicate with other technical and non-technical roles
· Data-driven decision maker, interested in learning new technologies
· Experience working in the ML/AI space
