Your role at Talend: ·       As the Vice President, Product Marketing, you are a strategic thinker and compelling storyteller who is highly experienced leading product teams and passionate about collaborating with customers. You are an exceptional product champion and have extensive experience in enterprise B2B product marketing, as well as proven success in scaling product teams. You have experience developing strategic and innovative GTM programs for B2B software products, and you have successfully launched high growth products in your career. You deeply understand market dynamics, customer needs, the competitive landscape and product levers to drive overall messaging and value proposition for Talend’s products. ·       This is a unique and exciting opportunity for someone with a passion and desire to be on the cutting edge of one the biggest industry trends today, while leading and driving Talend’s global product marketing strategy for Big Data and Cloud integration. This role has high visibility both internally and externally and reports directly to the VP of Products.  ·       This position will sit full-time in our global headquarters in Redwood City, CA. Team Leader:·       Build and scale a strong team of product marketersProduct Launches: plan the market launch of new products, and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan, to ensure new product releases are successful delivered to the market quickly and efficientlyMarket Requirements Document: Develop and implement new marketing strategies that result in in market share gain, and provide direction and collateral for sales, marketing, and support teams worldwideProduct Positioning: Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates your products in the marketLead Generation: Produce product marketing collateral and work with other team members to ensure the best quality materials and information is presented to our customers and prospects.Sales Enablement: Communicate the product’s value proposition to the sales team, and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of your productsMarket and Competitive Analysis: Evaluate industry trends, competitors, and standards, and how they apply to Talend's overall product strategyProduct Evangelist: Act as key public spokesperson, keeping the press and analysts informed of Talend’s product strategy and progress. Create effective product and solution messaging, collateral and tools, and persuasive business plansYou will have:·       10-15+ years’ in process optimization·       Solid ability to problem-solve and think strategically.·       Ability to conduct research and shape the problem space in ambiguous settings·       Collaborative approach to work with cross-functional teams·       Self-motivated; able to work independently while coordinating activities with cross-divisional teams in remote locations·       Team player; able to communicate with technical and business experts at all levels of the organization·       Ability to motivate people·       Experience in customer engagements·       Confident personality and strong interpersonal skills with track record for influencing outside span of control·       Background with middleware products, such as big data, data integration, cloud and application integration technologies.·       Strong presentation skills and ability to deal with ambiguity is a must·       Ability to prioritize and meet deadlinesAND NOW, A LITTLE ABOUT US:
