About the Role
As a PM of the Customer growth verticals, you should be passionate about conceptualizing, planning, and creating large-scale systems. As a platform team, we work with many stakeholders across Gojek and an ideal Product Manager for this role will be highly collaborative - hence communication and listening skills are both critical. We also work extensively with folks from different teams - Research, Tech, Design and Operations, and an ideal candidate would be empathetic, detail-oriented and can quickly transition from detail orientedness to looking at the big picture. 

What You Will Do

  • Deliver. You do more than talk - you put things on paper, get your hands dirty, and execute with precision to make sure products and features are launched
  • Define and drive a roadmap for customer growth in collaboration with stakeholders from Engineering, Product, Business, Growth and Finance
  • Lead a cross-functional team, partnering with engineering, design and other teams to ship major features and product improvements
  • Seek product ideas and feedback, gather requirements, write specs, create wireframes and workflows, and demo them early and often
  • Understand that “one size doesn’t fit all” and conceptualize solutions that are configurable and adaptable to the maximum extent possible
  • Define clear and well-scoped requirements and usability documents that are easily understood by technical and non-technical audiences
  • Your work will involve you to establish synergies with a multitude of team’s across Gojek - Data Science, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Growth, and our Product Groups from Transport and Food and beyond
  • Deep dive into data and identify right problem statements and right segments to target and take Experimentation driven product development approach. Be in the details. Know your team's work in depth - down to API names, event names and contracts

What You Will Need

  • At least 5 years of experience working in the product management space, preferably in a consumer facing product role
  • Independent and curious, you set your own targets, ask for help when you need it and are always looking to learn something new
  • Strong communication skills, the ability to summarize complex and technical subjects to a wide range of audiences
  • Experience as a software engineer / developer and working with distributed teams are highly desired
  • You are a self starter, you love to understand systems inside out, and make it your mission to deliver quality products
  • A “Can-Do” Attitude: A positive attitude and passion for learning in fast-paced environments. We move fast!
  • Strong communication skills. You know how to build trust, set goals, and get things done. You aren’t afraid of using whatever channel (face-to-face, email, Whatsapp) is required
  • Data-Driven First: When making decisions you leverage technical resources and data to support hypotheses. You are skilled at SQL and understand basic statistics, but you also know when to step back from the rabbit hole of ‘too many metrics’
About the Team
Customer Platforms group is responsible for the core user flows in Gojek Customer Apps which services 10s of use cases to millions of users. The Customer Growth Vertical is responsible for optimising for (providing incremental) transactions at select touch points outside of the core product flows via non-incentivized means. These include the “registration and first time user experience flows”, “cross sell”, and “search”.
