Why are we hiring this role?
As our Product Marketing Manager, your mission is to generate customer insights that inform UpGuard’s product strategy, lead go-to-market for our suite of products, and enable our sales team. Product Marketing is a highly-cross functional role at UpGuard, partnering with Product, Sales, Marketing and Customer Success.
Different from many other Product Marketing roles, we expect you to work across the entire product lifecycle, from helping shape product release notes, driving feature launches, to growing product adoption post-launch. 

What will you accomplish?

  • Work with users to to formulate and document business requirements
  • Build proof of concepts around new user experiences through internal and external business development opportunities
  • Create project plans, resourcing and budget requirements to launch new products and services in existing markets and new geographies
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs, capture feedback and help customise the product to the local market requirements
  • Identify and evaluate inefficiencies and recommend optimal business practices
  • Incorporate feedback from customer interactions, support tickets and product usage data to create functional specifications for development of new features
  • Create user and training documentation, and facilitate training as needed
  • Create and review business dashboards to track key business metrics and use it to make tactical and strategic decisions to improve the product and services
  • Use project management methodologies, principles and techniques to develop project plans and to cost, resource and manage projects

What do we need from you?

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience that can span marketing, product marketing or product management roles
  • Experience working on product marketing throughout a product’s lifecycle
  • Experience in B2B marketing and working closely with Sales
