This role is focused in creating best-in-class productivity features within the Lucid Infotainment group, bringing office & business functionalities into the vehicle.The ideal candidate has proven track record in shipping seamless experiences in the productivity space (videoconference, calendar, email, office and collaboration tools).The candidate has an understanding for application architectures, paired with a great understanding of customer needs and is able to clearly articulate those needs to engineers, designers and other stakeholders.

The Role

  • Develop and manage the product roadmap for productivity
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, researchers, other product managers
  • Gather requirements and document them in clear understandable user stories, drive end-to-end feature development
  • Understand current trends and innovations in the automotive and productivity space, apply that knowledge to innovative and unique features
  • Be the voice of the customer, working with UX researchers and designers, to identify and highlight key pain points in the user experience. Prioritize customer needs over competitive benchmarks and internal stakeholder requirements
  • Manage feature releases using agile best practices for continuous integration and deployment
  • Partner with the QA team to test end-to-end functionality for owned features
  • Coordinate with supply chain in evaluate potential vendors, create and manage RFQs and SOWs, partner with the business development group to negotiate commercial and technical agreement and manage any outsourced development activities
  • Partner with platform and content providers to bring market leading features into the vehicle. Define the right balance between internal and external feature offerings.
  • Partner with designers and researchers to perform user research, benchmarking, usability testing, rapid prototyping and spec development 


  • A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Product Manager in the consumer software or consumer electronics space
  • Shipped a minimum of 2 products, managing the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to launch
  • Experience in video conferencing & collaboration software, email or calendar products
  • Experience with browser apps, windows or mac desktop apps, mobile apps
  • Experience creating mockups and wireframes, knowledge of UX/UI design patterns
  • Experience using Agile/Scrum/Sprint methodology including sprint planning and execution, as well as a strong understanding of software development management methods
  • Solid knowledge of videoconferencing protocols (SIP/H.323)
  • Technical understanding of Bluetooth protocols and profiles
  • Demonstrated ability to engage, work with and manage the output of third-party-suppliers
  • Experience working with external partners and implementing their APIs
  • Influence decisions with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High tolerance for ambiguity, finding a way through
  • Experience with test and build aspects of software development
  • BS minimum in an engineering discipline (computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar)
