Position: Senior UX Designer
Location: Seattle, WA  

Multiple Positions Available:

1.Lead the design direction for AWS services.
2.Work collaboratively with engineers, product managers, executives, and other designers.
3.Deliver compelling visual solutions.
4.Leverage design decisions and design work to senior stakeholders and influence leadership on best design solutions using data as a rationale for decisions.
5.Perform as the design lead for the end to end design of large-scale products that focus on a user-centered design approach.
6.Develop and work from user profiles while conducting task analysis, creating user scenarios or user stories, and helping to create and analyze user research.
7.Assist in developing use cases and high-level requirements.
8.Design the architecture interface, and interaction flow of services and experiences and develop personas, customer journey maps, conceptual diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes, high fidelity mockups, and detailed UI and visual design specifications for web and mobile.
9.Refine maintain, and enforce current design guidelines and strategies.

Basic Qualifications


A Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Human Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Design Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of experience in UX design, interaction design, information architecture, or related.

Must have 5 years of experience in all of the following:

1.Creating visually compelling, customer-focused design solutions and scalable dynamic user interfaces for large-scale, multi-tiered platforms using user experience design and visual design principles and technologies;
2.Using the entire software design process, including research methodologies such as heuristic evaluation and usability studies, setting design criteria, brainstorming, wire framing, red-lining, and final design quality assessments; and rationalizing designs among cross-functional groups that include software engineers, product managers, peer designers, and user researchers.
3.Releasing large-scale software products to market for desktop and mobile, and scoping design work alongside software engineers while participating in an Agile, sprint-based methodology of product development.
4.Web-based technologies (HTML & CSS) or other design-creation technologies, and with data analysis and visualization.
5.Writing technical specifications for large-scale, user-facing software products and reviewing specifications across product managers, designers and software developers.
6.Conducting field testing and research for technology products, including contextual inquiry, usability testing, and interviews.
