Product Analyst at is seeking a Product Analyst to join our Product & Innovation team. Our passion is to change the world of online payments and the Product & Innovation team sits at the heart of achieving our ambitious vision and goals.  The role, based in our London office, will involve working closely with our engineers, designers, and business stakeholders to help shape the future of online payments. You will act as an important bridge between Product, Technology and Design, to understand desired outcomes, elicit requirements, and then translate them into coherent functionalities that can be easily implemented for our innovative and groundbreaking products.  You will synthesise and articulate business insights to deliver required specifications, conduct feasibility studies, and produce designs/models. Reporting to a Product Manager and collaborating with Project Managers, Engineers and Design Stakeholders in an agile and very dynamic environment, you will be required to be flexible and adaptable at all times.    Commerce Platforms is a group that focuses on providing non-PCI compliant merchants a suite of options to accept payments from their customers. As one of the few B2B2C areas of, our ambition is to create a world-class experience for both our merchants and consumers.

About You:

  • Up to 2 years hands-on Product experience in a fast-paced Technology start-up
  • Leadership potential
  • Aspiration to grow your product management skills within a fast-paced tech startup
  • Curiosity and constant desire to understand our customers, the market, and how we measure against our competition
  • Ability to think end-to-end through complex business processes and identify areas of challenge
  • Exposure to a range of project delivery methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, Kanban
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Microsoft Project, Confluence and GitHub is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Prior experience as a Product Owner in a Scrum team is ideal but not essential
  • Software development experience or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) background is desirable
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask and consistently meet tight deadlines
  • Superb communication skills, ability to interact with multidisciplinary stakeholders
  • Avid reader of all technology publications and blogs
  • Degree Educated
  • Fluency in English

What you will be doing:

  • Ownership of products across their entire lifecycle
  • Development story writing, participation in team ceremonies, removing requirement blockers for developers
  • Provide ongoing support to the Product Leader
  • Partner with Sales and Commercial to understand Customer needs
  • Maintain the product roadmap in collaboration with Product Leaders
  • Collecting, understanding and conveying business requirements for given projects
  • Finding and communicating solutions to large and/or complex needs
  • Producing business and functional requirements as well as inputting into technical requirements
  • To develop, optimise & document business processes
  • To conduct day to day management of formal change requests in relation to changes in project scope
  • Highlight, report and manage project risks & issues
