Do you want to drive innovations in the financial services sector? Want to launch a net new product on Amazon? The Amazon 3rd Party Payment Products (3P) team is looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to take the lead on building and launching multiple new payment product initiatives.

The 3P Sr. PM will lead the effort to define new payment product initiatives by thinking big to create additional internal and external business opportunities that expand the range of 3P product offerings. S/he will own the roadmap for projects and initiatives with significant and measurable impact on customer experience and the bottom line.

The position requires cross-functional leadership and regular communication with management and internal/external partners. Structured communication, project management and executive presentation skills are essential. The ideal candidate will also have superior analytical abilities and a track record of finding practical, simple and creative solutions for complicated problems without sacrificing quality or core functionality.

The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, self-sufficient, and strong in
more than one or all of the following areas:
· Product development, including creating and managing a product roadmap, analyzing customer behavior, conducting customer research and tests, and developing new product features and services that deliver bar-raising customer experiences.
· Business Development, including developing external partnerships to create and enhance our product offerings to customers.
· Marketing analytics, including developing analytical frameworks to understand our customers' behaviors and patterns and designing robust experimental test to continuously challenge champion strategies.
· Project management, including creating business justifications and functional requirements for product features and services.
· Business management, including creating business strategy, owning P&L and managing program metrics.
· People management, including setting direction and maintaining a high performance bar for a team.

Basic Qualifications


· 5+ years of relevant work experience in product management in a related field.
· General manager/owner mentality and an entrepreneurial drive.
· Excellent business judgment and strategic aptitude; the ability to generate ideas and solve problems independently, in a manner consistent with the product vision, Amazon’s core principles, and Amazon’s position in the market segment.
· Proven track record of identifying customer needs and inventing new ways to meet those needs.
· Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast paced,dynamic environment with a strong bias for action.
· Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary to meet team goals.
· Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes.
· Excellent communication and persuasion skills; demonstrated success building buy-in for an innovative and bold strategic vision.
· Ability to influence a wide range of internal and external partners and collaborate across product, tech, finance, and legal teams.
· Demonstrated competence in establishing successful partnerships with external businesses.
· Bachelor’s degree required

Preferred Qualifications

· 10+ years of relevant work experience in the financial services industry.
· Technical fluency; comfort identifying key technical issues, understanding
· their business implications, and discussing alternative technical solutions.
· Experience negotiating complex agreements with a strong focus on long term value.
· MBA preferred.
