Dataiku allows enterprises to create value with their data in a human-centered way while breaking down silos and encouraging collaboration. One of the most unique characteristics of our product, Data Science Studio (DSS), is the breadth of its scope and the fact that it caters both to technical and non-technical users. Through DSS, we aim to empower people through data and democratize data science.
Our mission at Dataiku is big- to enable all people in companies worldwide to use data by removing friction surrounding data access, cleaning, modeling, deployment, and more. But it's not just about technology and processes; at Dataiku, we also believe that people (including our people!) are critical pieces of the equation.
As a senior product marketing manager working with our technical alliance partners, you will represent the product and integrations with our partner ecosystem in internal and external communication. The role is not just about explaining and demonstrating product features. At Dataiku, product marketing is the glue that connects our product strategy with the sales, partner, and marketing tactics that drive our success.
Working with technical alliances, you will play a critical role in rolling out partnerships and integrations. You will ensure that our customers, other partners, and prospects understand the value of our integrated offerings. You will develop content, including messaging, web copy, blogs, product briefs, presentations, videos, and demonstrations that articulate the product's benefits and value to our customers.
Product marketing is also responsible for release marketing and new product introductions. You will drive messaging and content for platform capabilities and technical integrations. You will also drive programs for internal enablement of new features and author customer and prospect facing content to drive demand.
In this demanding role, you will regularly collaborate directly with partner teams and with teams across the company, including product management, sales, customer success, and technical alliances. Such collaboration requires strong diplomatic skills and knowing when to push back and when to jump in. Attention to detail and a passion for quality, along with a relentless focus on measurement and outcomes, are also critical to success

In this role, you'll help the team:

  • Collaborate with the Technical Alliances team to develop compelling marketing programs and content and the partner marketing team to roll out marketing campaigns.
  • Market intelligence—be the expert on our users and buyers, who are they, how they buy, and their critical buying criteria.
  • Understand the competitive landscape—be an expert on key competitors, their capabilities, and market position.
  • Collaborate with product management to develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target buyer personas.
  • Understand the buying process, including where buyers get information and the who, what, when, and why behind their decisions. Then drive changes to our sales and marketing processes based on what you learn.
  • Plan the launches of net-new products and releases of existing products and manage the plan's cross-functional implementation
  • Act as the primary thought leader for the products you support externally, including speaking engagements and written works.

You might be a good fit for the role if you have:

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience, ideally in the analytics market working with technical alliances
  • Proficient in productivity applications such as Microsoft Office or Google Applications
  • Comfortable using collaboration and CRM tools such as Slack and Salesforce
  • Exceptional focus on outcomes with the ability to prove what is –or isn’t—working
  • Must be a capable public speaker, comfortable in front of senior groups and speaking with industry analysts
  • Must be a strong writer with a proven track record of deliverables
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties. Team player!
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is desirable; MBA preferred
