New YorkOur New York office is located in Midtown near the iconic Bryant Park and the historic Grand Central Terminal, New York's best connected office neighbourhood. The beautifully designed office has 360 views and tall windows to bring the outside in. We have a communal kitchen that brings the whole team together for Family Lunch and Happy Hours. The office is open plan with plenty of rooms and booths to take a private call, have time to relax and work in private or have a large collaborative meeting.
The Role
We are looking for a talented Product Manager to join the Private Client Data Science team to shape and lead the Private Client Data Products. Our Private Client department creates the most convenient, personal & memorable shopping experiences for the best customers worldwide through platform innovation, compelling products, service propositions, and our world-class styling team.
This role will be defining the Data strategy, vision, and roadmap for our Data teams within Private Client. You will provide holistic leadership to a cross-functional and highly skilled team of Analysts, Scientists, Engineers, business experts, and others in a fast-moving environment and take ownership in iteratively evolving and improving as we scale our business.
This role is based in New York City, but you will be actively working alongside stakeholders in our London and Portugal offices.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with workstream leads in Private Client to propose and advise on their Data strategy. 
  • Work with Data Science, Engineering, Analytics, and Private Client teams within Data to deliver business value company-wide.
  • Take both a top-down and bottoms-up approach during the ideation and product development phase, e.g., by providing insight and analysis which influences critical decision making.
  • Seamlessly integrate the Data strategy into the overall Private Client plan and share learnings and best practice guides with critical stakeholders across the business.
  • Champion a test and learn approach to identify and optimize existing users’ desires, new opportunities, and maximize business value.
  • Define and track metrics to measure effectiveness and identify the leading indicators that prove we are meeting our desired outcomes.
  • Identify new missions and objectives, lead and manage the roadmaps’  creation and maintenance, and understand how the team can achieve its goals by leading the team to identify opportunities, which will drive significant business impact.
  • Communicate product plans, benefits, and results, as appropriate, to a spectrum of audiences, from internal stakeholders to all employees.

Who You Are

  • Experience with Customer Data and working with Engineers and Data Scientists. Knowledge of data science concepts is a large plus.
  • A background in Product Management with experience in delivering highly impactful and successful products.
  • Ability to craft a product vision, roadmap, and rally short-term + long-term deliverables.
  • A strategic thinker with an emphasis on technical, operational, and commercial excellence.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks/priorities simultaneously, respond to work with urgency, and understand deadlines.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Able to quickly build relationships with the different players of the business, to varying levels of the organization (from C-Level to Analyst) in addition to the ability to influence change in stakeholders.
  • Have a flexible, approachable attitude with good problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and scoping work with keen attention to detail.
