Farfetch exists for the love of fashion. We believe in empowering individuality. Our mission is to be the global platform for luxury fashion, connecting creators, curators and consumers. We’re a diverse and global community made up of Farfetchers, our partners and our customers, which we believe is at the heart of our success. Everything we do is centred around our values - Be Human, Think Global, Be Revolutionary, Todos Juntos, Be Brilliant, Amaze Customers - which define our beliefs and our actions. We welcome difference and foster a consciously inclusive environment for everyone. We are Farfetch For All.
ProductWe’re designing impactful products and experiences that fulfil all our customer and partner needs from fashion lovers to the brands, boutiques and start-ups that operate within our platform ecosystem. Our team covers the website and apps, all our B2B products and in-store experiences. We’re passionate about what we can achieve together, continuously researching, testing, launching and refining new products to push the boundaries of what’s never been done before.
PortoOur Porto office is located in Portugal's vibrant second city, known for its history and its creative yet cosy environment. We welcome new ideas and a large number of our people. From Account Management to Technology and Product, whatever your skills are, you'll find your fit here. You can have an informal meeting in the treehouse or play the piano in your lunch break!
We’re looking for a Product Designer to join our Business Operations Platform Product Design team. We want a creative thinker and technical problem solver who’s excited about designing new platform tools that solve unique business needs. You might be designing tools for boutiques to process new orders, control the prices of products, or configure global supply chain logistics.

What You´ll Do

  • You’ll advocate for your users and champion user-centred design to deliver intuitive, innovative and delightful user experiences. You'll take ownership of new or existing products across our B2B offering and evolve the quality of our interfaces through iteration and testing. You’ll work fast across the end-to-end design process, taking an evidence-based approach where learning constantly shapes your design.
  • You’ll work collaboratively with the design team to drive consistency and excellence across products, and you’ll contribute to our design system to shape the overall platform experience.
  • You’ll take ownership of research and disovery activities, either to inform a proposition or evaluate a potential solution. You'll pair with UX Research specialists to dive deeper into more complex problem spaces.
  • You’ll explore multiple design routes and interactions, and converge on the best possible solution through continual refinement and feedback from our users. You effortlessly balance your sensibilities across visual design, usability and accessibility. You'll show autonomy of your project plan, and demonstrate comfortability across the end to end design process.
  • You’ll work in agile processes in a multidisciplinary team with other product designers, user researchers, product managers and engineers.
  • You’ll bring inspiring ideas to motivate an energetic and collaborative team.

Who You Are

  • You can design complex systems. You can find simplicity out of complexity.
  • You take several steps back to see the full picture and think about the wider experience. Our users think beyond their browser window, and so do we.
  • You design based on evidence and you’re always unbiased. You prototype to test and iterate. You can prove the impact of your designs, you think lean, and you’re comfortable with pivoting.
  • You’re resilient and can cope with change. We’re a rapidly growing team in a fast paced global business and we sometimes change course.
  • You’re inquisitive with a clear appetite to learn new, complex things. Every day you might be learning new things about luxury fashion, merchandising, pricing or logistics.
  • You’re a team player and you recognise the value of collaboration. You’re able and willing to travel to other Farfetch offices. We’re a global team with centres in London, Lisbon and Porto.
We’re looking for an experienced Product Designer to join our Business Operations Platform Product Design team and help us design complex systems in an ever-changing environment.
