About the Role
If you’re looking to be a part of a dynamic, highly-analytical team, and have an interest in marketing & business for the online gaming arena, look no further. As our Product Marketing Manager for the Online Games team, you will be handed the reins in co-managing GoPay's business endeavors with various Online Gaming partners in Indonesia (ranging from mobile to PC games). This will be a hands-on role as you will oversee and own the strategy-to-execution for all related marketing and business activities, all in efforts to make GoPay the #1 payment platform in the online gaming landscape.

What You Wil Do

  • Own your playground. Build your own approaches to make gamers love our products. You can use promotion, branding communications, partnerships, events, or anything you can think of! Assistance from related departments will always be ready for you
  • Build your network. Make friends and develop strong collaboration with Game Publishers (Moonton, Garena, Tencent, RIOT Games, all the big names) and Merchants (Codashop, Unipin, Itemku, and many others) in order to build credibility for GoPay
  • Know your target. Do fundamental research to win the heart of gamers with our tools and partners. You will conduct everything necessary-market research, competitor analysis, getting feedback- and articulating the information to corresponding departments so they have the weapon to make the best possible plan in sending messages about our product
  • Play with numbers. Analyze your progress so far with various business calculation metrics (user acquisition, cost per transactions, revenue, market share, etc.) and see how far we are from reaching our dream goals
  • Walk the talk. You are the James Bond of the division, thus you own the responsibility to your own ideas. Execute the campaigns, be a project leader, and unite various departments to walk with you to finish your missions. Worry not, we have capable departments that are ready to support you
  • Be a game changer. Evaluate campaigns, see whether your marketing efforts successfully move the needle, then adjust your plan or come up with a breakthrough Go-To-Market strategy. Your problem solving skill will be your key success to solve the game

What You Will Need

  • A mobile/online gamer, or someone who is willing to start playing them!
  • Willing and capable to handle both strategic and execution scope of work
  • Good acumen for product and marketing strategy
  • Obsessed with data and research, capable to translate them to an action plan
  • Good communication and presentation skills; is a "people person" with a collaborative mindset
  • Fluent in the English language, as you will have to communicate with game publishers/merchants from various countries on a daily basis
  • Broad knowledge about online games in Indonesia
  • Able to generate creative marketing ideas consistently
About the Team
We are the GoPay Gamestainment (Gaming, Lifestyle, and Entertainment) Product Marketing team, AKA the nerdy club that loves games, movies, music, comics, and last but not least…business revenue! We handle all the geeky related marketing endeavors to a wide target audience, ranging from students, young adults, to parents. We’re currently 4 people in all (you will be our 5th member!), working from home but still with a burning spirit to make our gaming hobby into one with a larger social impact.
We are one of the core businesses in GoPay, especially with the rising popularity of gaming and entertainment in Indonesia. Our efforts help position GoPay into becoming the #1 online payment in Indonesia, and influence the trajectory of the gaming & entertainment industry landscape in the region. Every person on our team has their own tasks /autonomy to work with various departments, ranging from product, branding, media, research, growth, legal, to public relations.
