We’re looking for a strategic and seasoned product marketing manager to join the Creator Marketing team in New York — a cross-functional group dedicated to helping artists and their teams thrive. Spotify for Artists has grown from a focused analytics app for artists into a leading music industry brand with a suite of products and services for artists, songwriters, labels, managers, and publishers. Spotify for Artists is used by artists around the world, and this role will lead our product marketing approach for international markets and non-English language users. You’ll build strategies for how to position and market our products for different regions, lead go-to-market planning for internationally focused features, and build key relationships with cross-functional partners embedded around the world. Ultimately, you’ll be a key part of a team reimagining the way artists and their teams leverage the Spotify platform, share their art, and build their careers.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop playbooks for how to market Spotify for Artists products globally, personalized to regional dynamics around the world.
  • Serve as the key liaison for Spotify for Artists product teams and international markets.
  • Lead thinking and analysis to help us better understand global artists’ needs and the competitive landscape outside the U.S.
  • Own the go-to-market strategy and ongoing release cadence for flagship products for artists and their teams outside the U.S. from ideation to launch and adoption.
  • Develop regional marketing programs & campaigns to drive creator growth and product engagement in partnership with the wider Creator Marketing team.
  • Own and drive a holistic product and communication strategy for Spotify for Artists outside the U.S. in coordination with the rest of the Creator Product Marketing team.
  • Collaborate with our artist & label partnerships, licensing, and markets teams to educate artists and their teams on how to best use the product.
  • Coordinate across all cross-functional partners — both internal and external — ensuring feedback is prioritized and ultimately leads to a better product for creators.

Who You Are:

  • You have 8+ years experience in product marketing for a media or tech company.
  • You love music —  and you understand the music ecosystem. In a former life, you’ve been an artist or worked closely with creators.
  • You’ve worked on global products before and are familiar with translation and localization best practices.
  • You have deep experience working with internal partners outside the U.S.
  • You’ve launched and driven adoption for new products and services, owning and achieving key business metrics.
  • You understand the marketing funnel and know how to optimize it at each stage.
  • You’re a great communicator with experience conveying ideas to end users and engineering teams alike.
  • You’re collaborative by nature and get energy from building cross-functional teams and bringing people together.
  • You’re comfortable developing marketing strategies using both quantitative and qualitative insights.
  • You have strong personal organization and project management abilities.
