The Amazon Associates program is a key and integral part how we bring new customers to Amazon, with over 100,000 publishers in its network. We help existing customers discover new products or programs on Amazon and increase customer loyalty. The Amazon Associates program is one of the most well-known and respected affiliates programs worldwide and enables our partners to monetize their online traffic by referring customers to Amazon.

The ideal candidate will be self-starter who is excited to learn about the needs of our Associate partners and drive innovation that will help them be more successful.

You will work closely with other designers, product managers, and engineers in a hands-on role crafting innovative user experiences from early stage product concepts to launch. You practice collaboration and efficiency and raise the bar for UX design within your team.

Basic Qualifications

· 8+ years of professional experience as a UX designer or interaction designer.
· An online portfolio or samples of work on resume, demonstrating experience creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devices.

· Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Design, HCI, or related field or equivalent professional experience within the design field.
· An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating a history of creating customer-focused, simple and intuitive designs using best practices for usability.
· Experience with responsive design.
· Create user-centered designs by working backwards from the customer, utilizing customer feedback, data analysis, and usability findings.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills with an ability to present to and build consensus among other designers, PMs, and mid-level leadership.
· Proficiency using prototyping tools like Flinto, InVision, or Principle, and/or an ability to prototype directly in code.
· Experience working on a collaborative multi-disciplinary team that includes other designers, product managers and software developers.
· Ability to deliver high-quality solutions in a rapid, iterative design and development environment.
· A desire and ability to work with an incredibly diverse and talented team.

Preferred Qualifications

· Strong skills in visual design and in evolving design systems.
· Experience conducting user research.
· Demonstrated business acumen, including experience measuring and calibrating the impact of your work against key business and customer experience goals.
· Self-motivated team player.
· Experience teaching and mentoring others.
· Experience working creatively around constraints and navigating ambiguous situations.
· Experience with responsive design and mobile app design.
