Remote Senior UI/UX Designer

Zipdev is searching for a passionate Senior UI/UX Designer to help us reinvent the lawn care industry!

You will work remotely on a platform that connects hundreds of thousands of people and its growing rapidly every day! We are a small yet mighty engineering team that loves to build software and solve problems of all sizes. Responsibilities

• Design and build the interface, navigation and aesthetic of our website and mobile products. You’ll be responsible for how our products look and feel.
• Recommend, prototype and implement UX improvements
• Develop consistent design guidelines, standards and best practices
• Update and maintain visual elements of our products, including removal of dead links, updating content and continual testing
• Source, select and prepare imagery for use in all products
• Write code to display assets, handle navigation and interaction on web and mobile platforms

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, UI/UX, Interface Design, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience in front-end web development
• Expert in graphic design software tools
• Expert level HTML/CSS and responsive design skills
• Strong Javascript skills
• Strong understanding of cross browser compatibility issues
• You value results over perfection!
• Excited about and have the desire to learn new technologies

Desired

• Portfolio/github of previous work
• High sense of usability and user experience, and an eye for visual design.
• Experience with React and React Native
• Proficiency with UX principles
