We are looking for a passionate Product Manager to join Spotify’s Legal & Internal Audit (“IA”) Systems team within the Financial Engineering mission.  In this role, you’ll partner with internal stakeholders and work on a team of system administrators and data analysts to build a product and data strategy that fits with long term business and legal goals.  
The Legal & IA Systems team is responsible for driving a variety of initiatives within Spotify’s legal, audit and data privacy landscape.  Its workstreams include driving strategic projects and implementing business systems, owning the data strategy for legal requirements, and building analytical reports and workflows to surface insights for the legal and internal audit teams.  

What you'll do

  • Partner with our global stakeholders to understand their current and future needs around products, applications and data
  • Define and articulate the strategic priorities of systems within the legal and internal audit, with an understanding of how individual systems relate to overall strategy/vision
  • Own large­-scale, high impact systems or processes such as contract management platforms and matter management as it relates to data in the Spotify ecosystem
  • Leverage cross­-functional relationships to influence the development and adoption of new processes/technologies to make a significant impact across the team
  • Understand the legal systems supplier landscape in order to cultivate those partner relationships and make strategic decisions on what to buy and/or what to build
  • Collaborate with the team and stakeholders to build short-, mid- and long-term roadmaps, KPIs and other relevant metrics
  • Clearly communicate your work, progress and vision of the data strategy to stakeholders - tailoring communication as appropriate to ensure relevance to the audience.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams of creatives, business owners, product owners, marketers, data scientists, and others across the company who are passionate about Spotify’s success
  • Develop a deep understanding of Spotify’s legal and compliance landscape, both the current needs and future vision
  • Take accountability over data integrity

Who you are

  • You have several years of experience working with legal and/or internal audit systems in a fast-paced global enterprise environment 
  • Experience with designing, implementing or maintaining a robust Contract Lifecycle Management System (such as DocuSign CLM, Icertis, Apptus, or Conga)
  • You know how to inspire, motivate and support a team to get things done
  • You can translate your team’s and your stakeholder's knowledge and experience to user stories and prioritized backlog items
  • You are exceptional at communicating concepts and ideas to stakeholders at all levels, in different shapes depending on the context
  • You know how to influence decision-making at all levels within an organization, and in a variety of contexts
  • You have experience with data-driven product development and knowledge of agile methodologies
  • You know how to map business processes and communicate them to stakeholders and process participants
  • You have a solid understanding of SOX, ITGC and GDPR compliance
  • You are comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced work environment
  • You have strong communication skills, including ability to speak tech to a non-tech audience and to translate complex business/legal needs into specifically-defined deliverables
