The Job …

As Data Analyst within the Product team, you will take our product analytics to the next level. Design and create the dashboards and metrics that will support the entire Product team’s decisions. Combine right-brain and left-brain skill sets to generate hypotheses about user behavior and delve into our mySQL and other databases to validate them. You will develop quantitative dashboards and analytics, conduct research into user behavior and create the underpinnings of our product development process. And you’ll work alongside a world-class team of product managers, researchers, and designers. Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain the core metrics and KPIs that will inform the product team in decision-making
  • Design and implement dashboards to track customers through the major stages of their lifecycle and identify friction points
  • Generate and prove out hypotheses using data analytics and quantitative tools
  • Execute data analysis to uncover user insights using a variety of tools including SQL, Athena, Firebase, Google Analytics, Mongo, Tableau, and more
  • Partner with product team members in measuring outcomes for new features and products
  • Report out on periodic changes in major metrics to product and other teams’ stakeholders

  • Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional group of product managers and designers
  • Strong presentation skills, and ability to translate data into a narrative
  • 2-4 years of analytics and/or research experience (consulting or consumer product experience preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative field
  • Experience with mySQL required; familiarity with Athena, Firebase, mongoDB, Snowflake and other databases preferred
