Your Role and Responsibilities
Designers are part of a cross-functional team that delivers a unique client co-creation experience to accelerate client transformation. You are expected to:
- Leads UX and customer / user journey design for prioritized use cases and MVSs
- Synthesizes research, client insights and requirements to craft user experiences that connect people in meaningful, enduring ways with products, services and brands
- Applies information architecture, research and evaluation in user design
- Facilitates and leads design sessions with clients and IBM team, using contemporary methods and tools
- Connects the dots at both abstract and tactical levels; is empathetic and expressive, inquisitive and divergent
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
UX Design for 3+ years
Lead designer role for 2+ years
Using design thinking and agile practices for 2+ years
Client facing role, including workshop facilitation for 3+ years
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Achieves Design Thinking Master skills (50% of role is software focused and 50% is facilitating)
- Stays up to date on the latest design tools and methods
- Demonstrates a growth mindset and continuous learning; stays current on IBM strategy and offerings
