Atlassian is continuing to hire with all interviewing and on-boarding done virtually due to COVID-19. All new and existing Atlassians will continue to work from home until it’s safe to return to our offices. When our offices re-open, we will provide the choice to work from home or return to work in an office unless a job requirement makes it necessary for a particular role to be performed at an Atlassian office.

No team knows the impact of digital transformation initiatives more than enterprise IT and Atlassian has taken a major strategic bet in helping enterprise IT teams transform. Atlassian’s IT Solutions focus on crafting a unified and modern IT solutions portfolio spanning IT service management (ITSM), operations management (ITOPs/ITOM), business management (ITBM), enterprise service management (ESM), SmartOps, and more.
This is a Principal Product manager role, which will focus on laying the foundation of SmartOps (AIOPs and AITSM) for Atlassian’s IT solutions. This role requires very fast prototyping/experimenting, deep customer empathy and most importantly very sound AI-first PM thinking. You will be one of the handful of leaders in the company helping build the vision, strategy and execution plan for Smart Tech to help us differentiate in the IT market. You will work with an experienced engineering team (including AI/ML) and a few sharp PMs; with future possibility of growing into people management. If you are looking for a startup environment within a large company, love talking tech/AI/ML and can handle ambiguity well - this role is made for you.
More about youOn your first day, we'll expect you to have:
- 10+ years of PM experience building enterprise software products and/or tech services- Have lead or guided PMs and engineers in building complex and sophisticated products or platfor- Have deep understanding of cloud tech, IT and Dev environments- Have written multiple vision/strategy documents and internal/external technology talks- Demonstrated ability in ITSM, ITOPs, DevOps or related product management- Has worked in large scale highly collaborative companies across timezones- Expert understanding of enterprise IT org structures, buying/refresh/adoption cycles- Experience working directly with customers in collaboration with sales/systems engineering teams for large deployments or deals
It's excellent, if you have: 
- A strong passion for building simple, scalable technology- Desire to evangelise and build expertise in immediate teams- A minimum of 3 years direct experience product leading AI/ML based product(s) and taking it/them to market- 2+ years helping build a scalable tech platform (any domain/product)- Strong product sense and ability to communicate across partners- Computer Science or technical degree or few years in engineer roles in the past
