OKEx is hiring a product marketing manager to assist in developing, expanding, and executing effective marketing strategies. Responsibilities include working closely with the product team and understanding how to use customer data to build optimal go-to-market strategies. The ideal candidate should have a deep knowledge of both the cryptocurrency and trading industries, and especially the pain points of users in the space.

What the day to day looks like:

  • Communicate with product teams on a daily basis to build a deep understanding of existing and planned products, along with the pain points that the products solve
  • Develop a deep understanding of OKEx’s user base, user research methodologies, and user segmentation strategies.
  • Improve GTM cross-team communication and execution processes
  • Create, expand, and execute data-driven GTM strategies 
  • Manage cross-team execution of GTM strategies
  • Present GTM strategies, rationale, and post-mortems to management, and iterate based on new data
  • Research and create global localization strategy and models

Ideal candidate must have:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in developing GTM strategies for a large cryptocurrency exchange or financial trading platform.
  • A proven track record of deliverables in launching GTM strategies for new products
  • Languages: native speaker in English and Mandarin Chinese

Nice to have

  • BS / MS in Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or the equivalent knowledge in work experience
  • Existing knowledge of the cryptocurrency space
