The Design Team at Sendbird is looking for a visionary UX Designer, Design Systems who can drive our product initiatives!  You will get to have a chance to build the voice of our brand with an intimate collaboration towards all the departments in Sendbird, globally. Our customers are builders, so we put extra care into building the most customer-centric products and relevant materials that focus on the whole experience of our customers.
Our roles for design expands beyond visual design. We create the customer experience, UI, presentations, marketing, visual content, illustrations, videos, tutorials, documents, and any point in a customer's life cycle that touches our brand.

  • 5년 이상의 UX research 경험 혹은 그에 준하는 관련 경력이 있으신 분
  • 시각 디자인, 인지 심리학, 산업 공학, 정보 과학 등 관련 분야의 4년제 학사 이상
  • UX 리서치 설계 및 수행을 기반으로한 Insight 도출 경험이 있으신 분
  • 다양한 조직과 협업하며 효과적인 커뮤니케이션이 가능하신 분


  • B2B 제품 또는 개발자 플랫폼/API 영역의 UX research 경험이 있으신 분
  • API/SDK를 이용한 애플리케이션 개발 경험이 있으신 분
  • 영어 커뮤니케이션에 능숙하신 분

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct user experience research in line with Sendbird's business objectives
  • Identify innate user needs via qualitative methodologies and verify hypotheses through quantitative research
  • Propose solutions and priorities based on research results

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in UX research or equivalent practical experience
  • B.A/B.S. degree in human-computer interaction, visual design, cognitive psychology, industrial engineering, information science, or relevant field
  • Experience using qualitative methodologies such as diary studies, ethnographies, affinity diagrams, and open coding
  • Experience deducing statistically meaningful results using quantitative methodologies such as surveys and experiments
  • Experience working in a cross-functional environment

Bonus Points

  • Experience developing applications using API/SDK
  • Full professional proficiency in English and Korean language
  • Experience working as a UX researcher in the B2B technology product space or in the developer platform/API space
