About the Role
As our Group Product Manager, you will lead the Product Management team - a subsidiary of the larger Payments team - that builds the infrastructure and shapes the experience for customer-to-merchant payments using GoPay, as well as the vendor gateway across all countries that Gojek operates in today. You'll define OKRs for your product area, drive the product strategy and roadmap, and scout out new PMs as your product scope expands. Your efforts will have a direct impact on the experience our users have when utilizing our platform. You'll get to own the future of your product, ensure its quality and longevity, and get to see the results of your efforts in people's everyday lives.

What You Will Do

  • Manage and support product managers in your product group, providing them with guidance and mentorship to maximize their potential
  • Define OKRs for your product area and hold your team accountable for setting and achieving their personal OKRs
  • Recruit, hire, and train new PMs as you grow your product scope
  • Drive product strategy for your product, partnering with the Product Development team and cross-functional stakeholders to create and execute on the prioritized roadmap
  • Set an example for your team to be customer-focused by managing customer research efforts, and always tying your work back to our customers
  • Partner with other senior and management teams to ensure that product OKRs and roadmaps are aligned

What You Will Need

  • At least 9 years of product management experience in technology powered products, with experience in organizational leadership or management roles
  • Successful track record in planning, developing, and executing strategy for multiple projects while collaborating cross-functionally
  • Ability to easily transition from high-level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution
  • Solid organizational, leadership, team-building, and mentorship experience
  • An entrepreneurial mindset; comfortable working in a complex and fast-paced environment
  • Analytical and data-driven; able to dig deep into the data to understand what's happening, and define & measure success on every project
  • Passionate about customers and always bring questions back to what will serve them best
About the Team
Our Payments team oversees GoPay (Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing consumer payments and financial services app), as well as Midtrans (one of Indonesia’s largest payment gateways), and Spots (Indonesia’s largest offline network for payments). 
We've helped simplify payments for over 750,000 merchant partners, over 1,000,000 driver partners, and millions of customers - from the bike drivers down the street to your favorite Gorengan and Martabak stalls. But, the growth of Payments does not stop here. We are hungry for more. We intend to become the largest payment and financial services group in Southeast Asia. We are working on several projects now, including one about direct interaction with the merchants of a variety of businesses and their customers.
