Mambu is the leading SaaS core banking engine. If you’re a customer of the largest digital bank in the EU, then you’ve probably interacted with our platform and didn't even know it. We are at the heart of what makes digital banks and lenders work - the system that processes banking transactions and updates accounts and other financial records from deposits to loans and credit balances. But we are different. We are not just cloud-native, lean and flexible - we are helping to revolutionise financial services globally. We are in a growth phase and we’ve only just begun.
To help us on our mission, we are bringing together people with the best skills and attitude. It doesn’t matter where you are from, what matters is the impact you have and your passion to make a difference.
To help us in our journey, we are looking for a Product Analyst to provide Product Managers and engineering teams with the analysis of customer needs and problems during the delivery projects as well as to analyse the fit of the product or the lack of such as a part of the early (pre-sales) engagement with the prospect.

You will:

  • Ensure product manager is sufficiently informed on the product fit or misfit as part of the early prospect engagement by:
  • - Collaborating with the clients, commercial and pre-sales team as part of the engagement as soon as the need for the product-fit analysis is identified (by delegation from the product manager);- Conducting a sufficient analysis of the problem space to determine whenever existing Mambu Platform capabilities are sufficient to fulfill the need, either directly or with the help of additional third parties or external development work;- Documenting the results of the analysis ensuring that the information is properly stored and available for all the stakeholders;- Contributing to the markets analysis and product maturity assessment.
  • Facilitate requirements analysis as part of the RFC: Request for Commitment (new feature request) process and ensure product manager has sufficient information to take a decision on the particular Request for Commitment by:
  • - Analysing and understanding the customer’s problem;- Defining the problem definition in a clear, lean and structured way as part of the RFC submission process;- Analysing alternative solutions before submitting the request for commitment;- Ensuring that the RFC process is followed (RFC is kept always up-to-date and is used as a source of truth for all our negotiations and commitments).
  • Facilitate the requirements analysis during the product delivery process whenever development of new capabilities is involved as a part of that by:
  • - Ensuring that the problem of the customer (or regulatory requirement) is sufficiently analysed and understood;- Assuring that the alternative solutions are sufficiently analysed before involving Engineering team to address the problem with the change in the platform;- Creating a clear, lean and structured definition of the need whenever the change in the platform is required to address the problem.
  • Support Product Manager and the engineering team with the comprehensive subject-matter expertise (including regulatory analysis and consultancy)

You need to have:

  • 4+ years of hands-on Product Analysis / Business Analysis / Application consultancy experience in a banking domain;
  • Hands-on experience in business requirements gathering, clarification, consultancy, documentation;
  • Knowledge of project management principles and readiness to follow and lead some of them, like deadlines management, risks identification and mitigation etc.;
  • Mindset for accomplishing the maximum business value and quality by addressing the actual problems rather than building unwanted features. Strong advocate for customers’ satisfaction;
  • Ability to solve problems, curiosity to try something new, looking at things with a fresh perspective;
  • Ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms and deliver difficult messages with clarity.

Nice to have:

  • Good understanding of software engineering practices;
  • Experience working in digital-only financial institutions (i.e. neo-bank, lender).

Why Mambu?

  • Competitive salary;
