The Workforce Staffing Product team is radically innovating the way hiring is done at velocity. This is being done by developing ML / AI based recruiting solutions that will allow 100,000's of people to be hired without the need of a recruiter.

Our team is growing and we’re looking for a Sr. UX Researcher who leads by doing, values diversity of thought and background, has a passion for solving problems at massive scale and brings their best self to work every day. You will improve, iterate, and reimagine the product experience to shape the next generation of WFS products. You will also partner with a wide variety of internal and external customers to craft intelligent talent acquisition platforms and optimize “top of the funnel” areas for best possible outcomes. As a member of our Workforce Staffing Product team, you will be responsible for conducting and synthesizing mixed-method research including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing. A core part of your mission will be to ensure that the products we design are responsive to user needs and delightful to use. In this role you will be responsible for leading a variety of UX research and design initiatives across the entire WFS product area. You will work alongside product management, UX design, and engineering to define and build the essential lovable product. This position requires deep customer focus, the ability to dive deep and invent, and the ability to make hard decisions fast.

We are a young and fast-moving organization, and the successful candidate will therefore need to be nimble, creative, be a self-starter and have a pragmatic approach to user research and product development. This position requires the ability to work with minimal direction and network proactively. You must be comfortable working on multiple products and applications in parallel, which is why strong organizational skills with the capability to multi-task are critical. Key Responsibilities
· Perform all aspects of the UX research lifecycle (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting, communicating) for products being used by a wide range of users.
· Collaborate and communicate effectively within cross-functional teams that span design, product, engineering, and management.
· Identify and prioritize research questions based on the analysis of existing product designs, business needs, project goals and risks. Perform quick but thorough data analysis in order to uncover insightful and actionable results that drive tactical and strategic product decisions.
· Understand product roadmaps and be able to translate them into long-term, as well as, short term UX research plans. Work closely with the design and product management teams to define, measure and communicate UX research metrics and guidelines around the various customer experience solutions evaluated.


The ideal candidate will have:
· End-to-end experience with all aspects of the user research lifecycle (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting, communicating, budgeting research).
· Hands-on experience with: lab-based user testing, remote testing, paper prototype testing, iterative prototype testing, concept evaluation, field research, and survey design.
· Experience in best practices for user research and knowledge of what approaches work and which don’t with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
· The ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously and multi-task in an agile environment.

Basic Qualifications


· 5+ years of hands-on experience conducting UX research in an applied setting.
· BA/BS in psychology, sociology, anthropology, human computer interaction or related discipline.
· Working knowledge of behavioral statistics and the principles of experimental design.
· A strong portfolio demonstrating past work experience, deliverables, and the ability to extract actionable insights from qualitative data.

Preferred Qualifications

· A passion for the data insight/visualization space
· 7+ years of hands-on experience conducting UX research in an applied setting.
· MA/MS in psychology, sociology, anthropology, human computer interaction or related discipline.
· Strong command of quantitative, behavioral analysis and statistics.
The role is ideally in Seattle but qualified remote candidates will be considered.
