Where we are: Loadsmart was founded in New York and is currently headquartered in Chicago, IL. Our teams operate remotely from different parts of the United States as well as in several locations across Latin America.
Who you are:You are an experienced product marketer looking for the chance to own the buyer messaging, value proposition and narrative. You love meeting your buyer at events, joining their networks, solving their problems and collaborating on new opportunities. You enjoy learning continuously and you’re excited to share these lessons with the company and iterate on your previous work. You are completely client-centric, you use data to inform your decisions and you look at the business outcomes to measure success. You love working in a face paced environment where you can be strategic but also roll up your sleeves and execute.
The role:The product marketing manager will play a critical role in the Loadsmart marketing team. You will be the primary point of contact for the buyer profiles, persona, needs, value proposition and messaging across the company. Sales, marketing, product, business development will look to you to determine how to position new launches, content, pitches and entering new markets. You will work closely with the marketing team (content, campaign, events, automation) to design, execute and deliver best in class campaigns for your buyers. While you own the buyer messaging, you will be integrated into the full marketing program cycle, ensuring every strategy and tactic aligns to the buyer persona needs and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research: Quantitative and qualitative to define, document and share the Loadsmart buyer profiles.
  • Conduct buyer interviews, work with analysts, influencers, thought leaders and product users to build out robust buyer personas.
  • Buyer Value Proposition: Develop positioning and messaging that differentiates Loadsmart offerings in the market specific to the target audience challenges, opportunities and needs.
  • Market Expertise: A complete understanding how our customers buy, their buying criteria and process. Become the expert on the competition and how to win against them.
  • Messaging: Create the narrative for the buyer across the buyer’s journey, defendable with data points and relevant to market themes.
  • Enablement: Communicate the value proposition of the services to the sales team and develop the sales materials needed to support buyer sales cycle. Deliver on-going training to help internal and external stakeholders understand, communicate and demonstration this value.
  • Product Launches: Collaborated with the product team to plan and integrate new launches into the buyer marketing programs in a cross-functional implementation plan. Work as the connecting bridge between product, marketing and sales.


  • BA degree required, MA preferred.
  • 10 plus years experience in product, content, partner or field marketing
