We’re looking for a product manager to help lead our Web infrastructure team in Spotify’s Platform mission. This team is responsible for building tooling that the entirety of Spotify relies on in order to ship high-quality web products quickly. We define and maintain web architecture standards for the company, automated testing & monitoring infrastructure, and developer experience tooling.
It is entirely our responsibility to ensure that spotify.com, the Spotify TV applications, Spotify for artists, Backstage (our open source developer platform), and every other web application at Spotify have the tooling vital to continuously deliver value to our users.

What You'll Do

  • Work closely with skilled engineers and set the high-level mission, vision, and roadmap for the platform and the team.
  • Own and drive the product strategy for web infrastructure support.
  • Collaborate with key partners across the organization to make sure that you collaboratively provide for the company’s short- and long-term goals.
  • Partner with other Product Managers in Infrastructure to provide an outstanding developer experience for Spotify engineers.
  • Ensure that your team is constantly doing the right things, and has a healthy balance of innovation, reducing technical debt and providing maintenance and support.

Who You Are

  • Have a deep web engineering background
  • You are a hardworking product manager; you’ve driven product strategies from inception to delivery.
  • You understand the importance of the developer experience to improve impact, distribution and success for those building on top of your product.
  • You have excellent leadership, communication and relationship building skills.
  • You have experience building developer tooling
  • You enjoy being a “developer evangelist” - serving as a champion for engineers and promoting their voice in the conversation
