Dataiku allows enterprises to create value with their data in a human-centered way while breaking down silos and encouraging collaboration. One of the most unique characteristics of our product, Data Science Studio (DSS), is the breadth of its scope and the fact that it caters both to technical and non-technical users. Through DSS, we aim to empower people through data and democratize data science.
As a product marketer at Dataiku, you will understand how customers use the product to drive value in their organizations. You will use your knowledge to create customer-centric messages and content for internal and external audiences. The role is not just about explaining and demonstrating product features. At Dataiku, product marketing is the glue that connects our product strategy with the sales, partner, and marketing tactics that drive our success.
As a product marketer, you will play a critical role in product releases and new product introductions. You will ensure that customers, partners, and prospects understand the value of crucial product capabilities and newly released features. You will develop content, including messaging, web copy, product briefs, presentations, videos, and demonstrations that articulate the product's benefits and value to our customers.
Product marketing also helps the content marketing team create content to drive our products' awareness and demand. Attention to detail and a passion for quality are critical to your success. With your understanding of the market, competitors, users, and buyers, you have a unique grasp of the topics that will attract and engage our target audience. You will routinely develop content that optimizes our limited resources' impact and maintain a relentless focus on measurement and outcomes.
In this demanding role, you will regularly collaborate with teams across the company, including product management, sales, customer success, and technical alliances. Such collaboration requires strong diplomatic skills and knowing when to push back and when to jump in.

In the role, you'll help the team:

  • Collaborate with product management to develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target buyer personas
  • Be the expert on our users and buyers, how they buy, and their buying criteria
  • Use your insight to create and enhance our user and buyer personas and marketing programs
  • Understand the competitive landscape—be an expert on key competitors, their capabilities, and market position, so we know how to position ourselves and win
  • Plan the launches of net-new products and releases of existing products and manage the plan's cross-functional implementation
  • Act as the primary thought leader for the products you support externally, including speaking engagements and written works

You might be a good fit for the role if you have/are:

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience for enterprise software, ideally in analytics
  • Exceptional focus on outcomes with the ability to prove what is or isn't working in product marketing programs
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable in front of large internal groups, speaking at conferences, presenting to customer executives and industry analysts
  • Strong writing skills with a proven track record of deliverables, including blogs, articles, and white papers
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field is desirable; MBA preferred
