We are a team on a mission, to put accessible and affordable healthcare in the hands of every person on earth. Our mission is bold and ambitious, and it’s one that’s shared by our team who shares our values, to dream big, build fast and be brilliant.
To achieve this, we’ve brought together one of the largest teams of scientists, clinicians, mathematicians and engineers to focus on combining the ever-growing computing power of machines, with the best medical expertise of humans, to create a comprehensive, immediate and personalized health service and make it universally available.
At Babylon our people aren’t just part of a team, they’re part of something bigger. We’re a vibrant community of creative thinkers and doers, forging the way for a new generation of healthcare. We’re only as good as our people. So, finding the best people is everything to us.
We serve millions, but we choose our people one at a time…
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for a Junior Product Analyst who will help us grow our Implementation and Experimentation capability. You will be part of the Clinical Product Analytics team, which includes Product Analysts who work closely with the clinical product teams that support Babylon’s core clinical services. In order to optimise the user experience for the patients and clinicians who use our apps, we need to launch, test, and iterate our products to ensure that they meet user needs; that’s where you come in.
This is not a typical analyst role; you will develop a deep understanding of Babylon’s product, communicate the value of your work to different disciplines to embed your solutions into the products we produce, and be mentored in best practice Implementation and Experimentation to achieve these goals.

What will you do?

  • As a member of our Experimentation team, you will analyse the experiments we perform in our Healthcare apps and portals. We will train you to use SQL and statistics to analyse large datasets, understand trends, and then present insights to our product teams to guide product development
  • You will need to think experimentally, look for hypotheses, and guide teams to think with an experimentation mindset. You will need to understand how the products work, have a thorough knowledge of Babylon processes and work with cross functional teams
  • Longer term you will be given the reins to handle experiments yourself, taking teams along the journey of creating hypotheses, setting experiments live and turning around analysis & recommendations
  • You will be encouraged to work on projects outside of Experimentation such as deploying Front End Tracking, getting involved with projects that pique your interest and working on projects which develop your skills.

What skills are we looking for? (Technical)

  • We are looking for somebody who enjoys working with data. Ideally, you have experience analysing data sets and presenting findings back as insights to other people
  • successful hires have demonstrated that they are comfortable with data by using SQL, Python, R, Tableau, and Google Sheets as analysis tools
  • Additionally, it will help if you understand statistics as you will be required to work with Frequentist and Bayesian statistical models. We will train you in these frameworks, but having statistical knowledge as a foundation will make this training easier to learn
  • Typically statistical skills are demonstrated by having a degree in a STEM field, but we are open to candidates who can display out of the box data skills in any other capacity.

What skills are well looking for? (Personal)

  • We are looking for people who are autonomous, hard-working and want to make a change. If this description matches you and you are excited about Babylon’s vision of disrupting the healthcare industry, please apply
  • This role is about making a change now; you are expected to make decisions quickly and effectively in this role
  • We are looking for candidates who are happy to take the initiative and adopt a generalist, do-what-it-takes, mindset
  • We think it's essential that you have strong interpersonal skills and work in a non-hierarchical manner. This role is about making a difference in the world, and you will need to leave your ego at the door.
We look forward to hearing from you!
Please note: This role is only open to US eligible candidates, and we are not offering sponsorship as part of this role.
