In this role, you will execute and contribute to the strategy and processes to launch and communicate classroom AWS Training offerings across all customer audiences. You will be responsible for optimizing our positioning and messaging for classroom training, as well as creating the positioning and messaging for specific courses. You’ll do this by creating the most compelling content to help customers understand the use cases and value propositions, and improving or creating programs to increase awareness and adoption of AWS skills. You will work with Product Management to understand and convey the benefits of classroom training and individual courses and influence their roadmap, priorities, and decisions. You will also develop the messaging and partner with our regional Field Marketing teams to enable the global AWS Training and Certification Business Development team to drive private training engagements. You will be responsible for developing launch and evergreen materials that crisply convey the value proposition, drive engagement, and support program goals. You will work with marketing teams to plan and support campaigns to reach and engage a wide variety of customers globally, and effectively project manage the efforts through multiple marketing channels.

This role requires the ability to analyze messaging and campaign effectiveness, modify programs based on conclusions, and clearly articulate results to stakeholders. The ideal candidate must have superior communication skills, strong attention to detail, a collaborative work style, and an unparalleled work ethic. You are passionate about technology and training and helping articulate complex technical concepts in simple terms that make sense to customers. You also have a track record of success in executing and optimizing marketing messages and materials with experience in audience targeting and segmentation. The right candidate has worked in a high-velocity launch environment; is extremely data-driven and comfortable with planning and executing on various stages of marketing programs; has demonstrated experience working effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure entrepreneurial environment with a strong desire to roll up your sleeves; and proven experience managing priorities and working effectively across a number of internal stakeholders.

Position may be located in Seattle, the San Francisco Bay Area, or near any Amazon/AWS U.S. Corp office only. Relocation offered from within the US only to these locations


· Regularly launch new AWS Classroom Training and Digital Training offerings to customer audiences.
· Own the creation and development of all value propositions, core content, marketing, and go-to-market strategies for AWS Training courses across audiences with a focus on IT learner roles.
· Work with Product Management, Curriculum, customers, and subject matter experts to distill key benefits into marketing messages and with Marketing and Communications teams to disseminate messages
· Develop & optimize compelling audience-specific messages and tools (e.g., videos, customer success stories, collateral, ebooks, web content, whitepapers, presentations, etc.)
· Identify and execute on insights that improve product marketing strategy.
· Develop detailed project plans under deadline for cross functional projects, including goals, messaging, call to action, and distribution channels.
· Define metrics, use data, and test to optimize and improve content and targeting for AWS Training and Certification marketing programs and campaigns.
· Manage multiple priorities as an independent, self-starter with excellent time management within a rapidly evolving business.
· Ability to travel 20-25% (when travel resumes)

Basic Qualifications

· 5+ years’ professional experience in fields such as technical and/or digital/high-technology companies/products.
· 3+ years of product experience with a focus on developers and IT audiences.
· Experience using Tableau and Adobe Analytics to access data.
· Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, communications, English, education, or relevant field of study.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience or familiarity with education, workforce development, professional development, training, or certification offerings and customer segments.
· Experience with SQL to self-serve access data.
· MBA degree.
· Proven ability to work on a global scale

The pay range for this position in Colorado is $93,300 - 160,000/ yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
