Atlassian is continuing to hire with all interviewing and on-boarding done virtually due to COVID-19. All new and existing Atlassians will continue to work from home until it’s safe to return to our offices. When our offices re-open, we will provide the choice to work from home or return to work in an office unless a job requirement makes it necessary for a particular role to be performed at an Atlassian office.
As a Senior Product Manager at Atlassian, you will advance our mission to unleash the potential in every team. Join the Atlassian DevOps product team to build a new DevOps product to stand along side our existing range of DevOps products including Jira Software, Jira Service Desk, Bitbucket, Opsgenie and Statuspage.
You will inspire and energize our team by creating exciting visions of product, evaluating market opportunities, analyzing industry trends as well as articulating customer and partner needs. Your work will impact millions of users as you define the foundations for how modern software teams connect, collaborate, and accomplish amazing things.

More about you:

  • You love working hard to understand customer problems and make amazing solutions for customers.
  • You have prior success setting product vision, strategy and launching products.
  • You can lead teams to set clear goals and make priority decisions.
  • You communicate crisply to your team, to leaders, to customers and partners.
  • You are adept at building relationships across crafts, products and functional groups to make sure we stay aligned.
  • Previous experience in the fields of DevOps and developer tools are a plus.

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

  • 6+ years of product management experience, ideally at a fast-growing software company
  • Significant experience defining and launching features that meet the needs of our customers and our business
  • You love obsessing over your customers, and working directly with design and engineering to ship delightful products
  • Ability to prioritize opportunities, balance the needs of our customers with those of our business, and clearly communicate the rationale behind your decisions
  • Ability to paint a compelling vision to inspire your teams and senior stakeholders
  • Good instincts matched with deep analytical thinking. You're comfortable defining and tracking key business and usage success metrics
  • A track record of building relationships and influencing without authority at all levels of the organisation

It's great, but not required, if you have:

  • BE/BS/BA with an emphasis in technology
  • Experience with software engineering, DevOps and IT operations market
  • Experience working on enterprise-focused areas (B2B)
